We spent a wonderful week here over Easter week. We brought our caravan from Chris Jones who has a sales pitch on site. He was on hand to show us how to get started which was fantastic he's such a great guy. The weather made it as it was when we had those silly April temps. The views are stunning around there and some good walks to local pubs. I'm not a fishing type but believe the fishing pools are really good. There seems to be two big fields and a small paddock type all have electric the two big fields seem to be saved just for rallies which to me is a bit of a waste as the furthest field from where we was pitched was completely empty over Easter weekend, madness! Facilities are very tired and in need of replacing but a little gem if you use your own !

As this was our first time camping we thought we would try somewhere close to home the campsite is easy to find with a sat nav.
The site itself is very basic, the toilet and shower block has ample facilities but were very smelly and dirty, in the 2 days we spent, there was no way that they had been cleaned.
We chose (luckily) to pitch at the bottom end of the field and were glad because come 10 o clock the noise, rowdiness and antics of fellow campers and possible residents was outrageous.
The site is right on the river Severn which in itself is a beautiful place. It is a short drive into Stourport where there is a lot to do for everyone.

We took the tent away for a last minute bank holiday weekend. We found the site very friendly but very basic but your camping after all, so I cant complain. Toilet block, well I'm being told they are building a new one later next year, could possibly do with it not the best. But enjoyed the weekend. Would recommend to familirs wanting a quiet but happy weekend away from all.

This was our first outing in our campervan
We chose this site more for the location of the fishing here really
Which turned out to be very good, except for bertie the swan who has no fear and will come eat your bait whether you like it or not.Too funny, there are 2 large ish pools or a stretch of the river severn you can choose to fish
The field we parked in had only 5 hard standing pitches with EHU but there was enough space for many more
The field you camp on is secured by a barrier there is a porta potty toilet and porta potty shower which was plentiful in hot water and spiders !, unfortunately there were no lights in there and couldn't be used at night unless you like to shower in the dark.
There is a pub less than 100 yds away which cook food all day although we didn't try there fayre.
They guy who welcomed us was friendly and helpful and the cost to pitch including ehu and showers etc was £10 all in and £5 to fish
As this wasn't to far from where we live we will be visiting again

Just came back from spending a night at this site with 3 other families, 2 of which were first time campers. Hope this site hasn't put them off camping!
On the plus side -
Its a flat field. Soft ground easy to pitch on. Plenty of electric hook ups. Toilet block with showers. Cheap ( £7.50 per tent per night). Good location by river. Spar shop and pub nearby.(Although we didn't use these).
On the negative side -
You get what you pay for, which in this case is not a lot! Toilets were dirty, old and tired. Toilet paper strewn everywhere. No soap or hand driers. Children and teenagers hanging around the toilet block. Didn't dare take a shower! Littered campsite and bins at gates overflowing. Gates never closed and cars driving around site at all hours. Turned up, no one at gate so just pitched anywhere, as did everyone else. Noisy campers until after midnight. Youths singing and shouting at the top of their voices. Adjacent static site club house had loud entertainment which continued after midnight. Long grass on site, needed cutting. No playground for the children.
In my opinion the main problem on this site is that there is no on site warden that regulates behaviour so people basically do what ever they please!
