I totally agree with the review below. We (two adults and 3 kids 10, 9 and 18 months) had a great two weeks here. We were blessed with fantastic weather and appreciative of the early morning shade on our pitch.
The only thing that spoiled it a little was that it was pretty much full of Dutch people - nothing against the Dutch it's just that we wanted to practice our French and be immersed in French life but we were surrounded instead by people who wanted to practice their English!
I wish we had been a little further from the toilet blocks only because of the enthusiastic children singing in the shower when our baby was napping but hey, can't really complain! Wash blocks very clean and water always hot and never had to queue at all. There was an accessible toilet/shower room but it wasn't really accessible as there was a step up to it. However, this was remedied by the installation of a slope half way through our time there so you just need to get a key for it from reception.
The best pitches were nearer the lake in my opinion as they had more space around them and less traffic. Those nearer the entrance and the shop and pool were very squashy and surrounded by the road so a bit like camping on a roundabout - albeit a quiet one. We were mid site and had a great stretch of greenery in front of our tent for playing badminton etc.
The pool was fantastic for all ages and we struggled to persuade all of our kids to come out of it. It is a gently sloping/beach type in the shallow end with a playhouse - so ideal for toddlers. The shop was understocked and so, so, soooo expensive (beyond the expensiveness that is France generally at the moment). Also BE WARNED, swimming shorts are NOT allowed in the pool and they are VERY strict on this. However, conveniently, you can of course buy a par of speedo type trunks from their shop for about £16!
Barbeques are allowed but if you want one then take one with you as there are none to use or rent and disposable ones cost £15 (even at the supermarket!).
The lake is beautiful, the beach is coarse sand, perfect for swimming and paddling and going out in a dinghy. Really, really relaxing to swim out into it with only the countryside around you. Lovely walk around it too with wooden assault course climbing things intermittently along the way. Perfect for a picnic, very idyllic.
I would echo the last reviewer and definitely go to Arnay le Duc on a Thursday evening - a real treat- circus acts, music, eating and drinking in shop fronts and in the streets, older locals waltzing, street sellers etc
Lots of old things and churches around the area. Go to the Moutarderie in Beaune and the underground wine cellars. Hotel de Dieu worth a visit too. Some other lovely lakes around for dipping into and cooling off. Really was a lovely holiday and I would recommend it to anyone - even better if you avoid the route perephique on your way there and back!

What an excellent site! We had a very warm greeting from the friendly receptionist and were made to feel very welcome.
The site itself seems to be split into 2 distinct areas with the pitches from 1-90ish seeming to be smaller older pitches (for tents in my opinion) and the pitches from 100 upwards very large with plenty room in front also.
The 100 + pitches all seemed to have water and electricity and the lower numbered ones only seemed to have electric with no water.
There are 3 toilet/shower/wash up blocks and they are all clean and well kept.
The pool area is lovely and there is a wee shop on site selling the basics, there is a restaurant and free wi fi.
Just behind the site is an absolutely lovely lake with a beach and a water flume, there is a wee bar/restaurant on the lake we had a drink there and it seemed to be well used by the locals which is always a good sign.
There is a supermarket (shoppi) at the top of the road, there is also an Atac in the village and an Aldi 2 mins drive away.
Arny le duc is the village and its only a 5 minute stroll away, they have a market night on a Thursday and it is well worth a visit, there is a real party atmosphere with entertainment, stalls, food etc.
There is a very happy feeling about the site and I really enjoyed staying here I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.
