What a beautiful site. Views all round outstanding. Used as half way stop to Aberdeen. Not far from M74. Quiet. Road to site is narrow in places, but so what, the trip was well worth it. Everything you need is down the road in Moffat. O. K so tv reception isn't up to much, but is that important on holiday? The site had plenty of room for the caravans. It was level. The toilet was clean and well kept. Booked in again this year, that says it all.

This is a lovely little site with friendly owners. The toilet is very clean with a nice shower and constant hot water. The views are tranquil.
The only down side was the approach. The road is single track and although there are passing places they are small. We met two tractors and had to reverse which was a bit hairy to say the least with a drop to the stream looming.
The entrance to the site appears to be quite narrow but on leaving we noticed that the post to the little gate can be removed to make it about 3 feet wider. Handy idea!
I would heartily recommend this site if you have a smaller van or motorhome but the approach was a bit stressful for us!

Spent 3 nights on this site. Scenery was amazing woke to the sound of cows mooing in the field across the road. Plenty of room for 5 vans and toilet/shower was clean and a good size.
Owner arrived on the second day to collect payment and was very friendly, she popped in for a chat and a warm as it was pouring outside.
There is a little stream at the bottom of the field but you need to walk along the road a bit to get into it as there is a fence around it.
Moffat itself is a beautiful village with lots of individual shops, non of your chain stores here(except for a co op on the outskirts). All are dog friendly and our little terrier was welcome to browse the rails with us. Plenty of eating places and prices not bad either.
Nice posh hotel if you want to spoil yourselves at the Moffat house hotel.
Will definitely be going back there soon I hope.

Stopped here for 3 nights on the way to Scotland, the site was about 10min off the motorway down a lane about 3mile outside of Moffat, but be careful as a lot of it was only single width but there were quite a few passing places.
The pitches were well marked out on grass and with plenty of space between them.A combined shower and toilet area which was large and clean,(the site owner checked and cleaned each night.)
The site was in a quiet location with nice views but can get crowded at weekends, there was 8 units on on a Sunday night.

This is an excellent CL. Very helpful and friendly owner. The site is in a very quiet spot with ample space for 5 vans. There are two very useful picnic tables and benches on site too. The site owner has recently installed a WC and a shower. These were very clean. When you arrive you choose a pitch, these are marked with a marker. Site fees are collected in the evening. I would highly recommend this CL site.
