I stayed at this site Easter weekend with my 4 year grandson and we had a great time. James loved all birds rabbits ect. This is a small site but I never felt overlooked. The owner was always on hand if you needed him. The static and tourer owners were very friendly and helpful. The facilities are basic but were always clean. I can not comment on showers as I used the ones at the sports centre in berwick after visiting the swimming baths every day. The park is small but there is a nice one in belford. Just outside the site is a Coop, fish shop, pubs ect. Will I return to this site YES.

A real Gem of a site. Arrived and could find no where to pull over to book in at the reception I ended up blocking the road. The owners were extremely helpful, even drove my caravan onto the pitch for me (which was a very large empty static pitch - fab). My steps broke and they gave me another set !
The site is mainly statics and seasonal tourers everyone was very friendly and as already mentioned the fairy lights were great. I convinced my three year old that this was where father christmas's fairies went on holiday and they were watching to see if he went to sleep like a good boy.
The shop opposite the camp gates was very useful and there were many pubs within a very short walk. Some good dog walking places a short walk away.
I've been to a lot of sites this is now my favourite.

This was our first visit to Bluebell farm but it wont be our last! The owners are friendly, the cleaner is very helpful and the toilets/showers are just what you need.
This is a camping and caravan site with facilities you would expect, though if you are used to the likes of ‘haven type standard’ sites etc you may be disappointed.
A lovely, friendly site where you are right in the centre of a Northumbrian village. Co-Op- open 7-10 every day, and a few pubs are within 5 mins walk, in fact co-op is at entrance of site, Chippy is also at entrance and does a very nice curry and chips!
Despite previous rather negative reviews we found the ducks, birds, rabbits etc roaming around rather exciting as opposed to our usual city life- we didn’t want to start packing up as rabbit was asleep under the car!

We loved this site! Its totally unique. For one thing, where else can you walk out of the site and be in the heart of a village, opposite the Co-op? Very handy indeed for picking up the essentials. For another, where else do you see white rabbits, chinese ducks, doves and even a swan roaming freely around the grounds? Our kids absolutely LOVED this place as a result.
The owner Ian was very welcoming and helpful, and as we drive a 29 foot RV towing a car was more than happy for us to pitch on the grass near the amenities, the ducks etc. This was ideal, with hook-up, and only cost £23 for 2 adults, massive RV and 3 kids. Ian couldn't have been more helpful and even backed us around the site.
Access is a little tight with a sharp right hand turn and a small bridge to negotiate, but if we can do it in our big van I believe anyone could.
Other reviewers have talked about mess and poor facilities, but we found the campsite clean and functional. The toilets may be a little outdated but they were clean, working and hygeinic, which is all you really need, surely. There was no trace of duck poo in them!
Most of the taken pitches were seasonal campers who are an amazing lot, evidently: at night there are loads of fairy lights and - what with the white rabbits - it was a great fairytale place to be.
Belford is a great centre, just 15 miles from Berwick and Alnwick, just off the A1 and very close to Lindisfarne / Holy Island. We spent a wonderful afternoon and evening on the island - heading out about an hour before the end of safe crossing time via the causeway and then waiting until the tide had gone out again. This meant the island was practically deserted and we had it all to ourselves.
Don't expect luxury at this site but if you like quirky and quiet with easy access to a town, as we do, this is a great place. They don't have internet but do offer service washes. Please don't be put off by other reviews, particularly if you're an animal lover.

A nice quiet little site. Static vans, a few tourers, and about half a dozen tents. The owners are always around if you need anything and keep a tidy park. The assortment of birds, ducks & rabbits are a joy, and are likely to come up & check out your breakfast if you sit out!
Local amenities, supermarket, chippy & pubs serving good food all within a short walk. Perfect location for touring the area, a boat trip to the Farne Islands is a must. Make sure you check the tide times if you are heading for Lindisfarne as there is a lot to see & attractions vary their opening times.
Yes the loos are a bit dated, and there is a definite knack to getting a warm shower, but the lovely lady who is constantly cleaning them is happy to explain the mystery of their workings.

Stayed here for 5 nights and will definitely not be returning. The small tent area is crammed between mobile homes and caravans and is very overlooked. The shower blocks were filthy and in a bad state of repair ( broken toilet seat, cold showers most of the time unless you were the only person showering and so had all the available hot water).
The birds (chinese ducks, macaws, countless doves) love it, unfortunately bird droppings are everywhere. The friendly owner even suggested that we use the picnic table next to our tent, unfortunately it was covered in bird muck.
At evening it turned into an Alice in Wonderland experience as white bunnies hopped around and each permanent mobile and caravan competed with each other with a lavish display of fairy lights. Co-op opposite is a God send for fresh supplies - the only plus point I am sorry to say.

We would agree with the previous reviews. The owners were friendly and quietly in control of the site. Belford is a great location with Co-op and chip shop( very good) just outside the site.
Good points, location for Northumberland Coast, owners reception, electric plug in male and female loos and generally a quiet site.
Negative points, very outdated shower and toilet facilities. However, must say the cleaner was in twice a day and she kept it as clean as she could. I don't like the dishwashing facilities (a single sink) should be in the male and female toilets. The showers were a bit temperamental in temperature!
We enjoyed our stay as we were on an unused static pitch and therefore had our own hedged area. The other tents seem to be placed together in the middle. Overall great for a short stay.

This site is in a good location for the Northumberland Coast with a Co-op,chip shop and several pubs & coffee shops local. There are lots of ducks and doves everywhere which the kids seem to like, however the hygiene in the toilets is not so good, it's difficult not to walk duck droppings and cut grass into the showers which leave them dirty all the time, even though they where cleaned twice daily. I asked the manger why there was no mop so I could clean the mess in the gents, I was told there was one in the ladies! They have picnic tables which would not be used as they were full of duck droppings
The above problems could be improved a little by putting new mops in both toilets, mats to wipe your feet on and keeping the ducks away from the picnic areas

This site is in a great location - quiet but just across the road from the Co-op and within an easy walk of several pubs / coffee shops.
Ian and Phyl were very welcoming and very helpful and our children loved all the birds that are kept on site. The playground is minimal but we didn't spend much time hanging around since there is so much to do, whether walking from Belford or going to the many attractions in this part of Northumberland.
We stayed in the Bunk Barn and it is very basic (painted concrete floors) and the family room has a Velux with no blind over it. The bunks are all a good size (3 feet wide) and fairly new with very safe railings around the top bunks but there are far too many (14 beds in total for the Barn) for the communal facilities - the lounge has a table with only 4 chairs and easy chair seating for 5.
The kitchen is tiny. I have no idea how 14 people would cope since only one person at a time can fit in it. It does have a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and cooker but the pans and cooking equipment could be better. It's not ideal if you are intending to self-cater.
On the plus side the heating is great and we were always comfortable and warm which is more than can be said for the new showers in the toilet block.
Of all the issues, the main thing that would put us off returning is the fact that the showers were unpredictable, varying from steaming hot to freezing cold within one shower. Overall great potential but needs a bit more attention to encourage us to return.

Can't believe that we are the first to review this site. To be honest, it was bank holiday weekend and this was the only place we could find with space. However, the reception was wonderful. They even reversed our caravan onto the pitch for us. Location is great for Bamburgh / Lindisfarne / Berwick etc. There's a chip shop and Co-op just outside the site entrance. The village has a few pubs and a coffee shop.
The site is made up of statics with a small touring field. It is very well kept. Lots of pet ducks, rabbits etc wandering around. Very peaceful location.
Now, like many other sites, the facilities could be better. Toilets and showers were dated and although reasonably clean were a bit tatty. A bit more attention here could turn a good site into an excellent one. This is a very minor issue.
