 Used this site as a base for visiting the Tarn/Jonte Gorges for 1 week end of August/beginning of September just about two weeks before it shuts down for the season and used ACSI. It's a pleasant site with friendly staff and you can order your baguettes & croissants for next morning, clean toilets and plenty of vacant pitches at that time of year. It sits on the banks of the River Tarn with a wide stoney/pebble beech and Free Wi-Fi in the area of reception. The downside is that at the time of our visit, the sun doesn't rise above the side of the gorge till 10.00am in the morning and disappears at 6.00pm which means it feels a bit chilly mornings & evenings although 1km back towards Riviere Sur Tarn, there's beautiful sunshine where the gorge opens out.
If your towing a large caravan, I would not recommend going further into the gorge as the roads are really not suitable but the scenery can be breathtaking and it's an area that is a 'must visit' with beautiful old villages to walk around.

Excellent site. Lovely position surrounded by walls of Tarn gorge. Pebble bech and swimming possible. Canoeing from site. Good swimming pool, take your own chairs as no loungers. Good hot showers and clean toilets but no toilet paper!Friendly staff. Invited to choose own pitch. In good position for exploring Tarn and Jonte gorges and watching vultures! Bar and shop only partially open in June.Best pitches are by the river but they are a bit smaller.
