Fantastic camp site, great amenities & owners very helpful.
Would recommend this site to every one. Had an excellent time in the tranquil peaceful settings.
5 stars to its owners, will be visiting again in the near future.
Great for all ages ;-) this was our first time camping & we loved every second of it. Showers were hot & luckily the sun did play its part for a memorable stay

Myself and my partner have just spent the bank holiday weekend at this campsite. In our opinion the campsite was not well enough equipped for the size of the site, there was 1 shower that was build like a portaloo, for all genders to share, there were not many toilets around either that I could see, I never saw any washing up sinks for campers in tents. Fishing lakes setting was very nice, but the fishing itself was a bit hit and miss ( possible restocking of the lakes would help). The overall site itself is lovely, with beautiful wildlife. There wasn't enough electric hook ups, when you drove into the site it was cramped to get your car and caravan through entrance/exit especially if something was coming the other way. Marking out pitching would of made things a lot easier. Thought it could of been more organized. Shame that the clubhouse had been burnt down, that looked a really nice feature. Please take this as constructive criticism and not just a moan.

I found that Henfold Lakes fishery and caravan park site to be very good place to go all the staff are very nice and helpful I am a newbie to caravanning and they help me set things up northing was too much trouble for them. Site is great for fishing and seeing the ducks.
The toilets and sinks and showers and floors all very clean and paper towels and toilet rolls always topped up too. Grass and edges kept short all very tidy.
Did have a club house and place where you could get a drink and place to have dinner too had a bad fire fours weeks ago awaiting insurence will be another new place later. Site has five lakes and woods too.
As you come off site turn right go down the road to royal oak for dinner and drink or turn left ask office for details there is a spar shop not too far away too. Also not far from Dorking Town centre

We had only one night to spare but it was lovely to stay here and we will be back. Enjoyed a meal in the cafe, a little walk in the woods and fishing. Fish were caught! we won, t bother with electrics next time. Too difficult to work out what to use when, without tripping out! best for shortish stays. Did nt seem to be anywhere to walk to easily. Loos fine. Didn't try shower. Loved the wildlife, saw a woodpecker in first ten min, herons and so many goose families

We've just returned from a 2-night stay here. Although it's local for us we're not sure why we haven't found it sooner! We'll certainly be returning. As mentioned by others, staff are very friendly and helpful. The CL area next to the lake suffers from much duck poo (can't help that) so glad we were pitched on the large meadow. EHU points can be some distance from pitches but free loan of extension cords is available.
Campers are asked to leave a reasonable distance between units (20ft I think) which we appreciate as we prefer not to be too cosy with neighbours!
Loos adequate and clean, didn't use the shower, didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked very nice with a small terrace and other extra tables on grass.
All in all a very pleasant site for a relaxing break, particularly if you're an angler. If you're from outside the area you'd find plenty of places to visit locally.

The site looks nice upon arrival. We had a grass pitch in the CL area by reception, right next to the lake. Downside that there was lots of dogs poo around and on the pitch, so some better housekeeping between departures/arrivals would be good.
The electric (wattage) supply is awful and kept cutting out, so we had to turn everything off, including the fridge to get one item to work!
The toilets are mini portacabins with one loo inside each one. One for the ladies, one for the gents. They look quite new and are kept clean.
The one shower (which has to be shared by both sexes) is in a similar telephone box sized portacabin with a power shower.
It would be better if they could have a proper shower and toilet block and if need be, provide passwords to the campers if the owners want to keep the anglers away from using them.
The campsite is large enough to erect a playground area for kids as it does not have one, which is a shame.
All in all some improvements could definitely be made to make this a real gem of a site as it has the potential there.

We have just returned from a long weekend away and enjoyed a fantastic stay overlooking the main lake.
We normally stay on the CL part but after all the rains of this winter, we decided to pitch on the far side of the main lake on a hard standing.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Nice cafe/restaurant with bar and drinks until 11. 00pm.
Basic loos and shower.
5 lakes (all can be fished) and lots of wooded walks.
Fishing tackle and bait cabin.
Abundant bird and wildlife.
The only downside we found on this visit and probably due to the terrible weather we have had this winter is that the lane leading to the campsite is absolutely riddled with deep potholes and no amount of swerving could miss them. Hopefully tho, they will fix this issue as the weather improves.

We wouldn't stay here again, it was nice just outside of London but felt that the people were rude, esp as we were 2 females.
Only one female toilet and one unisex shower (please beware off bolt outside, anyone can lock you from outside!)
Ideal for caravans - although I think all of them knew each other.
Ideal for fishing. Not ideal for kids.
Cheap enough for what you can get. (don't forgot to wear flip flops in the shower!)

A very pleasant 2 night stay.
We were sited on the hard standing part of the site which is on the opposite side of the main lake from the caravan field.
A very pretty site with a pleasant walk around the lakes. I didn't venture into the woods.
The club house was very clean and tidy and has recently been refurbished. The food also looked very good.
The electrics are only 6 amps and our van kept tripping out. The staff who were very friendly sorted us out with an extra long lead to another electric point.
The site is under new management who are in the process of upgrading the facilities and are aware that this is an area that needs attention.
Don't know about showers etc as I used my own.
If your into fishing (which I'm not) then this would be your perfect site.
Overall a very nice site.

We have just returned from our second stay this season at Henfold Lakes and we have had a wonderful time.
Just £11 for a non electric hook up.
The staff are all lovely, everyone staying on the site was so friendly and we passed the time of day with lots of interesting people.
Onsite restaurant / bar offering quite basic but more than acceptable food. Opens at 08. 30 and serves until 9pm. Can get quite busy for breakfast with cyclists popping in.
We went with our 11 year old son and we fished, built a fabulous camp in the woods, collected wood for our fire, he rode his bike and played on the rope swing. Come here if you want some relaxing family time and the opportunity for your kids to be kids as we were. There are lakes but you don't have to be parked too close to them so it is still safe for little ones.
Facilities are basic, located in portable cabins. My husband and son used the shower after sneaking onto the assault course (naughty, naughty !) and said it was very good considering in a portable cabin. Loos also clean - I only used the one in the restaurant and that was fine.
We live locally and so didn't visit the surrounding area but Box Hill, Leith Hill and Denbies are all very close.
We will be back without a doubt.
