Lovely friendly adults only site.
We were made very welcome by Ann.
The Wifi was excellent and very reasonably priced.
Each pitch had water and electric hook up.
Levelling blocks were needed on our pitch.
Toilet block was clean with a really good shower.
The message board which allowed guests to recommend eating places etc was a really nice idea and added to the friendly atmosphere.
One of the nicest sites we have stayed at.
Our little dog really enjoyed the holiday.
Excellent walking and nice dog friendly local pubs.
Peregrines and kestrals seen in the vicinity.
There is a long single track road up to the site so best to arrive and leave at the appropriate times to avoid meeting an on coming caravan!

We stayed at Drake House Farm for a few days upon getting our caravan delivered. The site is nice and quiet with all the necessary facilities, topped with a great owner Ann, she is a real character (bet you can't guess what her other job is)
The location is good with nice views and handy for Clitheroe where you can do all of your shopping. Waddington is only a 25 minute walk away with some great pubs serving wonderful cask ales and good food.
All in all a lovely site that we will be returning to time and again. Thanks Ann for running a lovely site and making us feel so welcome

This was our first caravanning trip together. We stopped for two nights Friday to Sunday with our dog. We stopped on pitch two which in our opinion is the best as you can see the spectacular views of Pendle Hill and are in the corner. Each pitch has it's own hard surface and grassed area at the side which was just brilliant for us sunbathing and for the dog to sleep on! The toilet and showers are in a little out house (unisex) however, are in excellent condition, extremely clean and toilet rolls and towels are always available.
This is a brilliant family run site and we would definitely recommend to our friends. You can tell that the owners of this site have a passion for caravanning also as all our needs where catered for. For £15 a night you cannot grumble. We will be back very soon :)

The Ribble Valley is not far from where we live so it was a great choice to try out a new awning. The site has stunning views across a region much loved by the queen. It really is a lovely site, with a water tap to each of the 5 spacious pitches. The toilet and shower block is clean and functional rather than luxurious but more than adequate. The owner wasn't there when we arrived but our name and pitch number were on a board so pitching up was easy. Friendly owner. Drakes Farm is very competitively priced and without doubt we will go back again and again and again

A great little site. Very friendly and chatty owner who makes you feel very welcome. Site in good location with fab views from the pitches. A real gem as it is so unusual to get fully serviced pitches on CLs and in the wet weather this was a bonus! Toilet and shower basic but kept very clean. This is an adults only site which was perfect for us. Lots of excellent walking locally and several from the site itself.

Nice CL. We had mega heavy rain, but the hard standing pitches drained very well. The pitches are full service, so if you pay for the ballcock and hose for your Aqua Roll, you don't need to refill which is mega relaxing. However, for waste water, for the same principle on our pitch (number 3), you would need about 10 meters of waste hose. But That is the maximum distance at any pitch to move your waste Hog. CCEP is outdoors, but within easy reach for all pitches. All pitches seemed easy to get level,
There is a toilet, shower, basin, and information room all in the same block. It is all unisex, but the water is warm, and it is clean.
However the site is exposed, and open all year, but there is no heating. The view of Pendle Hill from the site is lovely, especially as trees have been planted to 'hide' Castle Cement works. We had a nice afternoon, when it didn't rain, so we walked into Waddington, a lovely village less than two miles away, and ate at the Waddington Arms. It serves fabulous food and drink, and you can take your dogs in too!
The whole area around the site is fantastic for walks, and some of it is classed as area of outstanding natural beauty. The walk in Gisburn Forest at Stocks reservoir, is fantastic! It is all 'hard trail' for cycling, so even though there was rain heavy enough for local flooding and full watercourses all over, there was no mud!
For directions, on the website follow the last bit relating to following the Three Rivers Caravan Park signs, but really don't miss the turning into the site! The site is on rural farming land, but the sheep are charming, rather than being a problem. WiFi is available on site at £1.00 per day. I would gladly return here.
Note of caution. The road back to the A59 is narrow. It is not a problem when it is quiet, but there is no room for a car/van outfit and a HGV near to the bridge. An artic' removed all three offside windows on the van and gouged the side, and another rigid HGV had to reverse backwards over the single lane bridge to allow us to pass. At least it was on the way home, but we have only had this van since May, and it was a new one. Lovely site and location, but you have been warned.

Superb CL, our 4th visit here, all are serviced pitches, Adult only. The site is always full when we have been, but we are flexible with our dates(luckily)
Owner very friendly and helpful. They let us use their computer in the house for maps and emails. They informed us about Clitheroe food fair and a local cider producer, we attended the open day and it was great fun.
Now realised that they have WI-Fi on site, so we will be sorted for next time.
Good tv and mobile phone reception.
Toilet block, fresh towels daily, soap, shower gel, toilet paper all provided. Warm and clean.
Quiet location, the grass was all really neatly cut and grass cuttings picked up. The sheep were on the other side of the fence when we were there and they were quiet. I am told when clipping took place in July they were noisy for a night as the lambs cannot find their mothers.
There is so much to do in this area and lots of beautiful villages and lovely walks from the site onto the fells. The 3millstones serves great food.
We did not have a problem with the price, there are no extras for us to pay. We had a car, caravan, awning, own water tap so we could connect our pipe direct into the caravan, and a drain direct to grey waste, that was wonderful. 16amp electric, hard standing. No pay meters or tokens for the shower. Our dog was in with the price too.
A well run site with your name on the reception window on arrival so you know where to park.

Stayed here for 2 nights in our motorhome. Has 5 hardstanding pitches with water. Very nice owners.
Toilet block consists of 1 toilet and 1 shower and 1 wash basin. Not bad at all, was always warm when we used it. Be warned if you are in the shower and someone flushes the toilet the shower loses pressure and goes hotter.
A couple of sheep were roaming on the pitches and did wake us up bleating, more sheep surrounded the field. Just across the way is the Three Rivers site and noise could be heard from the camping field.
Be warned if you are in a motorhome, if you use bicycles or walk the road up to the site is long and very steep !
This is an adult only site and at £15 a night it is not a cheap CL

We booked a weekend here with our friends, also in a motorhome. It is an adult only site. The approach to the site is a little narrow in places, but ok. The site has been very nicely laid out, all hardstandings with grass at the side, although a couple of pitches are rather narrow. The owners are very friendly, we were even taken by car to the pub on the Friday evening, to go and have a meal there! Although we had booked together, unfortunately we didn't have adjacent pitches, which didn't matter that much, as it's hardly a big site, but it would have been nice.
There is a WC and shower, with a handbasin. At the time of our stay it was rather cold, but there was no heating in there at all, and also the shower was only lukewarm, which we mentioned to the owner, so that may have improved now. So we ended up showering in our own van after the first (cool) shower.
The cost was £15 per night, including EHU, which I thought was a little overpriced for a CL, especially as it is an all year site yet didn't have any heating in the shower/WC building.
Also, in peak season they only take bookings for a full week, not just for weekends, so if you want a weekend here, it will have to be in the winter months.
It is very good for walking in the local area, although I don't think we will be going back there due to the price and also it is a long way from Clitheroe itself, it's fine if you have a car, but for someone with a motorhome, who wants to leave the van on site, it would be too far to walk there.
