This is the third time we have used this site this year and find it ticks the boxes for what we need on a small site. This time of year hardstanding with electric hookup. There is public transport nearby with the no 71 bus Slough to Heathrow. A number of pubs and a Toby plus shops. On site there are facilities but we use our own. The site is secure and we found we had good TV reception and our mobile broadband worked fine. There were a couple of caravans and a tent on site when we arrived, but when one of the caravans left while we were there it left the grass where the awning had been in a disgusting state, and I felt so sorry for the owners who may have to returf or at the least reseed the area. Appeared to be workmen, and must have been there weeks. No small birds visiting the feeders we put out, but parakeets and red kites flying overhead. Friendly owners and we will be back.

This is a great little site, ideally located for exploring the area. We did Windsor Castle and Legoland, both less than 10 mins drive. The Windsor Farm Shop is brilliant.
We found the facilities basic but fine, the toilets were cleaned while we were there but muddy feet made the wet floor dirty, but there was a mop so we mopped up after ourselves. There were no heaters in the showers though so it was a bit chilly! A washing up area would be nice, but it is only a small site.
We had no problem with the access, we have a 4WD and a 6berth single axle caravan. With a bit of jiggling we got in and out easily.
You have to ring the owners on the intercom to get in with a car every time which is slightly annoying, but there is a keypad for the pedestrian gate.
We ate at the Union pub (left out of site then left up the hill) which was first class. There are several pubs in easy walking distance.
Birdwatchers will like it, there were parakeets and red kite flying over the site. The planes didn't bother us at all. Someone complained it was expensive, for me £20 including hookup and in such a good location is great value!
Overall a good site and we would return.

Stayed for 3 nights in May prior to the Windsor horse show. There were 3 pitches already taken up but the units were unoccupied. Two tents were in the field [ one very large tent].
I'm glad that there was few people around as the facilities are somewhat limited. As previously stated there is no hot water facilities anywhere for campers etc. The showers are adequate but be warned, if someone flushes the toilet next door it affects your shower.
The facilities were not cleaned in the 3 days we were there ! Toilet roll run out and more was donated by the campers. Be careful when using the grey water dump, it gets very contaminated by sewage waste from the toilets.
If the facilities were improved this site would be a little gem, but sadly they let this site down and at £20 is very overpriced.
The local pubs are very nice, had a meal at the Union Inn, very nice food and nice atmosphere. Jolly Gardeners also has a nice atmosphere and worth a visit.
A definite must is a visit to Windsor Castle, one hours walk from the site via the 'Long Walk' or use a No.71 bus.
Also worth visiting is the RAF memorial at Runnymede, 5 minute drive from the site, giving a stunning view towards London. 24000 names are shown along the memorial walls.
Would I return, probably not unless the facilities were improved.

Helpful when booking on phone. Lovely small site, very secure, electric gates and high brick wall. However tight when pulling in and out with a caravan. Facilities limited, no heater in the converted stable which is now 2 shower/toilet rooms. (Michaela did apologise when we arrived saying they are waiting for an electrician) Also for some of our stay there was no toilet paper. Lovely site but you need to rely on your own van's facilities. Great pubs offering value for money meals. Close to Legoland.

We spent a week here and found this site has a great potential. It is in a very good location close to shops bus stops and amenities and is very secure. It is surrounded by a 7ft high brick wall only entered through an electrically operated security gate and apart from Heathrow aeroplane noise it is quite peaceful. Could do with the toilets being cleaned more than once in a week and hot running water needs to be added to the sinks. The grass hadn't been cut for weeks and at times the site was crowded with up to nine units including tents being allowed to pitch. I wouldn't recommend staying in a tent as the facilities are basic.

A very small and private site, in a good position for Windsor. Generally quiet, but you have to bare in mind that you are under the Heathrow flight path, so ideal if you are a plane spotter!
The facilities are very basic, there are only 2 showers and toilets and no hot water available in the sinks, although the showers were lovely and hot. Which is fine if there are only 5 units, however there were 7 units and room for tents in the middle ( 2 were packing up as we arrived)
Apparently this site was affiliated with the Caravan Club, but is now with the Camping and Caravan Club. This site is ideal for touring the area, but would benefit from a few more facilities such as a washing up area. There are lots of pub, restaurants and shops nearby, and a visit to Windsor Farm shop is worthwhile.

This was at my time of visiting one of the newest CLs in the Caravan Club network. I terms of facilities it really is like a mini full site with proper showers etc and hard standing pitches. As has been said it is in a lovely area, handy for Windsor, Lego Land, even Hampton Court Palace.
There is one problem with it. Access to it is poor. The road down to the site is narrow with a lot of parked cars and once you reach the CL it is almost impossible to get your caravan down to the pitches because of these being down a narrow 'driveway' at the side of the owners house. This is more than wide enough for a caravan but you have to make a tight turn to get to it from the entrance gate into the small development of houses.
If it had not been for help from a fellow caravanner, I would have had to unhook the caravan and pull it by hand into the site. Even with help I came very close to hitting the wall with the caravan (which is a fairly normal size).
We had a great time, and the kids were thrilled to make friends with the owners dog, which seemed to want to stay with us.

Love this site. It is extremely well placed for Windsor Castle and many other attractions. There is a fantastic walk from the site into Windsor, which takes you on the Long Walk with the views upto Windsor Castle. This is about a 2 1/2 mile walk and definitely worth it, just an easy relaxed walk, with deer in the park and great views all around.
There are 5 pubs within a short walk from this site, the closest being opposite. Very friendly landlord.
The site is situated in a lovely area, backing on to open fields with plenty of wildlife.
There is a newly built shower and toilet facility.
There are 5 pitches for caravans or motorhomes which are flat and well spaced out.
Michaela the owner, is very friendly and helpful and I can definitely fully recommend this site and have already booked up to go back again.
