Perfectly sited stopover, being halfway from Calais to the Med, about 5hrs drive via Paris. Can confirm other comments - well-run muni; having stopped here several times we always feel comfortable and welcome.
This year missed the pizza van; maybe out of season. The walk into town through the park is welcome after an early start and a day on the road. The city is worth a visit; unpretentious but quietly elegant, with a lovely cathedral
The pitches are arranged in two concentric circles; with hardstandings closest to the two loo block on the inner, higher part. Good turf pitches lower down, some almost entirely enclosed. Served by tarmac tracks, and well-lit. Some road noise.

Again I found this site from reading the reviews. Got of the ferry at Roscoff and set this site in the satnav. 400 odd miles later we arrived In Bourges. The satnav told us to turn right which we did. We drove in a semi-circle and arrived back at the main road. This site has its own traffic lights so you can get across the main road. How cool is that.
The reception is really friendly and helpful, (she even understood most of my slaughtered french). We booked for 2 nights and it cost 28 Euros for 2 nights with electricity. The toilets are spotless and the water was steaming hot. This was good as it was tipping down with rain. The site is flat with hedges around the pitches, we had the choice of grass or hardstanding
Bourges is an amazing place, the old town has loads of mediaeval half timbered houses, and the cathedral is awesome.
There is no shop on site but a garage next door which opens at 6 am for any necessities. Recomended.

Used this site as an over night stop on the way back to Calais. Having never used a municipal site before I can not compare but this one is just what we required no frills and reasonable price. There is a layby on the main road which you pull in to so that you can cross the road using the traffic lights if you are towing a unit which made it much easier and you don't get stuck in the middle of a busy road. There is a small play ground but only for very young children ( 8 and under ) Toilet block very clean and for one night perfect. Reception lady spoke good english but also helped me with my france. Very secure with a coded barrier. Great stopping point on the way back to uk and not far from the a75 and well sign posted.

Probably the best kept city municipal camp-site we have stayed at.
Pitches were of decent size although their shape varied greatly.
Pitches were all separated by mature hedges.
The allocation of pitches was determined by the type of unit and electrical requirements.
The below tier seemed to be tents and was all grassed pitches. The larger upper tier was caravans and campavans with a choice between grass and hard standing.
Water points were plentiful and the electricity connections were reliable.
One nice touch was free wifi throughout the site although you need a code which changes weekly from reception.
The toilet. Showers/washing up blocks were modern, clean and nice to use. The showers were actually too warm on occasions and needed to be cooled down which is a rare thing in camping sites.
There is a nice children's play area with climbing equipment, 5 a side goals etc but no on site entertainment.
There is no shop on site although a nearly garage sells milk etc and the nearest supermarket is about 15 mins away.
There are lots of restaurants in the town centre and the usual cluster of Buffalo Grill etc on the town outskirts.
Staff at reception all spoke english and were very helpful.
Every evening a pizza van parks in a lay bye virtually outside the site. The pizzas are delicious.
The town itself is really nice with an outstanding Cathedral. I suggest using the tourist train which leaves from the cathedral to get a look at the town and then to use the knowledge gained to visit the spots that interest you.
The site gets very busy from 4pm to 7pm and in the 4 nights of our stay went from being 30% full to about 80% full. If you arrive in this time you may have to queue to register.

Now called 'Camping Robinson', this site is about 20 minutes walk from the city centre. It is all neat and tidy and the sanitaires are clean and well kept, BUT, if you are in a tent you will be placed in a separate area which is on a lower level and means a 20-30 foot climb up a flight of stairs to reach the sanitaires. There is no shop on site, but a petrol station 100 yards away sells milk, wine and other essentials. The tent pitches vary tremendously in size and are all quite shady. Not bad for a quick stop and the town is lovely, but there aren't many other sights to see in the area. There is a children's play area on site which looked fairly good.

Neat, clean and tidy - within walking distance of a very attractive city - not a site for a full fortnight's holiday, and not a place for those who want 'entertainment', but this is an excellent stopover for a few days sightseeing.
There is a choice of pitching on grass or gravel, so it's suitable for all weathers. I don't think there's any need to book, but it's a popular site because it's so well kept and carefully maintained.
One of the best city centre sites which we lack here at home.
