We have just spent 15 nights at this wonderful little site and booked straight away for another week, looking forward to seeing the the trees changing colour. Ted and Jackie were so helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area.
The views from the site are stunning. We walked for miles and were still finding new walks when we left. Watching the Magnificent Red Kites was a joy, as was the regular sitings of Roe deer.
There are so many places to visit with a number of National Trust properties close by, Cliveden is a must absolutely stunning! Henley and Marlow only 10 minutes drive away.
Lots of good Pubs and restaurants although the one in the village not so good.

Just spent a lovely bank holiday weekend here on our first visit but not our last. Owners are friendly without being intrusive. Area is so pretty, some very narrow country lanes.
The pitch is sloping but the views are stunning. Lots of walks. We did the walk to the Chequers Inn on Bank holiday Sunday but as it was heaving only had a drink. Stopped at Fingest Manor on the walk back watching the deer.
Dropped the dog off at the van (who needed to rest her paws!) and walked (5 mins) to the local, The Fox, for Sunday roast. Would eat there again but would choose something other than Roast. When we booked we were given a code for the security gate.

This is a pure delight. It is a CL hence only 5 vans. The field is vast and sloping so blocks are a necessity. Water and hook up available near to the pitches. Waste disposal about a 500 yard walk.
The view is beautiful. The Red Kites are breath taking. You are surrounded by fantastic countryside and the walks are numerous. We just meandered off and were kept company by a deer, fox, pheasants, squirrels and an abundance of bird life.
I know the area well. For those who are visiting you are 5/10 mins from Fingest, Turville etc all lovely English villages with history and links to a more modern TV age. Chiity chitty bang bang, Goodnight Mr Tom, Vicar of Dibley etc. The pubs area all pleasant and offer food of varying quality and price. For me The Crown at Radnage is the best albeit a 10 mins drive.
The couple who own the CL couldn't be more pleasant, welcoming, polite without ever being intrusive. I thought it was a great touch when Jackie wanders down with the hounds and has a 3 mins chat with all her 'guests'.
We live 40 mins away and as long as your unit is self sufficient you will love this CL. A real beauty. Forget the Cotswolds explore the Chilterns you will be amazed at what you will find.
Recommended.

We stayed at Cholsey Grange for 10 nights. There were others caravans there during the weekend but the remaining time we had a 3 acre field all to ourselves.
The views are an uninterrupted panorama of the Chiltern hills and rural countryside. We did lots of walking and sightseeing but in all honesty we could quite easily have sat at the campsite looking at the view and watching the amazing red kites. The horses in the next door fields also kept us quite amused.
There are plenty of walks from the site and lots of quaint villages to wander round. We couldn't resist going to see where The Vicar of Dibley was filmed.
There is a country inn in the village but we didn't use it so cannot comment.
The site has water and electric hook ups all close to the pitches. The chemical toilet disposal is behind the farm outbuildings about 50 metres away but we did not find that a hindrance.
The owners are a lovely, friendly couple who have mastered the art of being there if you need anything without being intrusive. I certainly recommend the farms eggs.
We will certainly come again. 10 days just wasn't long enough!

Stayed on this site for only one night, we were the only ones there, lovely tranquil site overlooking the wooded hills and watching the red kites, also the rare breed sheep and the lovely horses and ponies on the farm.
The owner was very friendly and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed some of the walks.
Would certainly go there again.
The only downside was there was no WC but there was a tap for water nearby also electric hook up.
Unfortunately we were not there long enough to find the local attractions pubs etc. Next time!

We stayed here for one night en route to France. It's a very peaceful location with sweeping views across the Chilterns. The facilities are basic (tap, chemical waste disposal) but adequate.
We were fortunate that the owner was prepared to allow a few additional units on site - but with no electric hookup - as we hadn't realised that the Henley regatta was on at the time. (Everywhere else we tried was fully booked. )
Access is via a gated drive; the owner will provide you with the combination when you book. There is a pub just down the road, but unfortunately it was closed on the evening we were there due to a wedding reception, so we can't rate it.
The site is on a slight slope, but well drained and no issues with wet ground.

Stayed here for a weekend at the end of May. The camping area is at the end of the farm with spectacular views of the wooded valley below, with Red Kites flying over almost all day.
The camp site is only a couple of miles from the M40 but you can't hear any traffic at all. It is totally tranquil. The lady owner couldn't have been more helpful.
There are 5 hook ups and a fresh water tap at the top of the field with the toilet disposal a behind the barn. There is a pub within 10 minutes walk called 'The Fox'.
There is a short cut from the farm but best to find it on the way home.
Despite having no real facilities, we would highly recommend this site as being one of the best if not the best CL we have ever stayed at.
