Just returned from a wonderful week at drewery's site. The toilets and shower blocks are a little dated on the outside, but on inside are upto date.
The showers are free and always hot even at the busy morning and evening times, the camping field is right on the cliff top so is a little breezey and has poor drainage at times of heavy down pours but soon dries up.
The pub/club does great breakfast, the shop not belonging to the site sell most things and does great home cakes and pies. The chipshop across the way from the entrance is busy and does great chips.
The site down the road has an indoor pool open to the public, but we didn't use it.
The beach is accessed via 2 paths one a gently sloping and the other a steep slope and steps. The sand is great a low tide, as the tide comes in it turns to shingle.
Great Yarmouth is about 10/15 mins drive. Which has all the usual large shops and supermarkets.
Overall the site is a great family site and we'll be returning in the near future.

Lovely little campsite. Facilities dated but very clean and 100% usable. Staff are friendly, beach is just a short walk away. On-site clubhouse and a local shop at the entrance is well-stocked. Friendly pub nearby has live bands on Saturdays, and carvery on Sundays. Have visited several times, and keep coming back. Touring rates are very reasonable. Camping area on the cliff top, with separate area for caravans.

Found this site when we had a last minute camp trip during August bank holiday, I agree with everything from previous review, the only thing I was concerned about was the site wasn't tidied of rubbish along the cliff top fence, I spent 20 mins of our 1st night clearing rubbish as I couldn't bear sitting looking at it, the owners could make this site more attractive by just spending a few minutes a day clearing the blown rubbish up, (campers please do not throw your rubbish out the back of your tents, it is not necessary)
We pitched behind the bushes so did not get a sea view, but gave us shelter from the wind, we had been told a few days before the east coast had suffered with 60mph winds and 5 campers had ditched there tents and had slept in the clubhouse, so we decided to play safe. In the end we didn't need to as we had fabulous weather and came back after 4 days with a better tan than going abroad for a week.
There were 2 walkways down to the beach so this made for a lovely walk going down one way walking along the beach and coming back up the other way. Shop on the corner of the site had everything you need and have the most fabulous homemade sausage rolls for a quick snack, showers and toilets were clean but very dated but were free and plenty of hot water. Gentleman in reception was very friendly. A very nice beachside camp once rubbish was cleared and would go back again.

This was our first week away in our new caravan. My mother-in-law owns a holiday home just up the road so we were aware of this site.
The site itself is extremely close to the sea, just a couple of minutes walk. The two shower/toilet blocks are a little dated but very clean and lots of hot water. We were parked next to the bins which wasn't very nice and has a problem with the flys and wasps.
The local shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. There was no play area for the children. The laundry room was pretty poor. I had to wait for some while for a machine to become available and the it didn't wash that well.
Down the road in walking distance is a site with chalets and you can use their swimming pool. Children are £4 and £5 for adults for a session.
We didn't use the food or bar facilities so can't comment on that one.
You won't get a reception on your television without a very tall aerial.
For what we paid for the week it was reasonable.

We decided on this site as we did not need to book and could just turn up on the day, we arrived on the Friday about 3ish and there was plenty of room we were charged £49.00 for 3 nights.
Me and my partner are 30ish and we have been camping a few times and were immediately impressed by this modest site, it has only one field however there is plenty of room, nice flat grass and lighting, there are toilets close by that are very simple but clean. The site is located on a cliff in spitting distance of the beach and on site there is a bar/family bar serving food, a shower block and a local shop that is very well kitted out selling everything you could need.
Within close proximity to the campsite (300 yds) is a freehouse pub that serves lovely food and has a children's play area, yards from that you have a fish and chip shop that is always busy and produces good quality grub. Yards from that there is a pathway that leads down to the beach, this is a little rocky but there were lots of kids playing down there and is a very good morning/evening walk.
Within driving distance we found the greyhound racing track in caister plus a great Carvery at the castle pub. Also nearby is Hemsby which is great for the family with lots to do and well worth a visit. And you also have great Yarmouth on your doorstep.
I will be recommending this site to fiends and family and see this being suitable for both family trips or quiet getaways.
We had a little trouble with the wind as the wind was blowing a gale and we were on top of a cliff however this wouldn't deter me from returning and I am sure to come back.

Found this site by accident and thought it really sweet! The site is mainly for holiday homes with a field for camping. EHU is limited but we weren't bothered. Showers were lovely and warm (and free) and although the block is a bit dated to look at was spotlessly clean and has a plug socket for hair drying/hair straighteners! There was also a second block of toilets - both sets are a bit further than I would like to walk during the night with the kids but nothing too major. There is on site bar and shops, cafe and pub (very busy at meal times, great beer garden with kids play area) all within a short walking distance - but not too close. Beach is again within close walking distance and not very difficult to get to. Site can be a bit breezy as the site is on top of the cliff (fenced off so no safety worries and our only problem was with some pesky wasps! Would definitely recommend.
