 Stayed here for 7 nights 7th -14th Sept. 2012
Nice quiet site with good clean facilities although the toilet block was Communal as there were not many people on site.
The only niggle my wife had was that no toilet paper or hand drying facilities but that's not the end of the world.
A good location for anyone interested in visiting the D Day Beaches and Bayeaux.
Creully is a nice little town but does not have many places to dine out, although the local Hotel does a good set menu.
I would recommend this site to anyone wanting a peaceful campsite.

This a site which is most attractive and very welcoming it is well landscaped with excellent facilities. It is well placed for the Normandy Beaches and Caen. It is also convenient for the early morning or afternoon ferry. The site has barrier protection and restricted late night entry. The warden is most helpful. Some pitches may need levelling blocks and there is shade under mature trees. Just a small warning however the last 400 metres is a little hairy, with 2 right angle bands and a very narrow bridge but it is worth it!

When we arrived here we were delighted by the peaceful environment and friendly village atmosphere.
Good showers/toilets and disabled facilities, as well as a great washing up area. It is beautifully landscaped with lots of trees and flowers that are well looked after.
We thought that the pitch sizes were good. The site is bordered at one end by a river and you can see the Normandy cows wondering around the adjoining field all day.
The site has an entry pass system which is nice. Cruelly has two nice Boulangerie / Pattisseries (lovely cakes and bread!) and a supermarket - Cocci Market, a bar / restaurant.
Great site for the landing beaches etc.

We stopped here for 2 nights so that we could tour the D Day beaches, and as a stopping off point on our return from Spain.
We found the site suited our needs very well with good sized pitches, in fact 1 pitch would hold a Vango 400 Tigris with extension, a Vango 350 Beta a car and a trike.
Prices were very reasonable and you could order bread to be collected in the morning from the office.
The facilities were excellent very clean and plentiful, even with all pitches occupied there was no queuing for any of the facilities. The OH couldn't find the washing machines so did all the washing by hand with lots of weird looks and I think tutting from the French. I must admit to having a smile on my face when I pointed them out to her.
The town of Cuelly is a short walk and caters for everyone.
Would I go here again? yes most certainly,

I wanted to let everyone know about this site as I feel if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing site this is a little gem! My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights in our tent and were very happy here.
Located in the charming village of Cruelly we found the location ideal for visiting all of the D-Day landing beaches and associated museums etc, as well as the tapestry in Bayeux, and the pretty seaside resort of Courselles which is only 3 miles away, with its beach and open air pool.
Trois Rivieres is a quiet and peaceful site bordered by a river at the bottom (one of the campers was fishing there), it has scenic views of neighbouring field where the Normandy cows wander around lazily all day and the only regular sound we heard was the lovely old church bell and the crow scarer!
The site features a modern utility block with showers / sinks / toilets and disabled facilities, as well as the best washing up area we have ever come across! It is beautifully landscaped with lots of trees and shrubs and the pitch sizes were good.
It is well maintained, and you can tell that they really care about the site, there is a regular gardener and a barrier entrance system. The village of Cruelly has two nice Boulangerie / Pattisseries and a small supermarket - Cocci Market, a bar / restaurant, butcher and lots more.
This is not for families who want lots of children's activities on site(there are swings), but if you are looking for a lovely, relaxing, well run site this really is great and we would recommend it.
