A very old and dated site. Toilet blocks and showers were dirty, no hand soap or drying facilities in both mens and womans toilets.
Unfortunately it did rain whilst we were there, we were one of the lucky ones as others pitches flooded due to bad drainage. When another guest complained because they couldn't get into their awning due to flooding, he was told 'the water will be gone in the morning'. Which it had but when it rained again the water returned!
The positive my partner and son enjoyed the fishing lakes however the other activities were not always as stated on website! Some missing or derelict!
Where the site is situated is right next to the beach and within walking distances and could have the potential to be a lovely site if things were updated or cleaned!

Stayed over the bank holiday period. I will start with the negatives. Toilet and shower block was not substantial for the amount of units over this busy time, womens block housed 2 showers and 4 toilets for approximately 40+ tents/caravans.
They could also have done with a good clean, have to say I kept my flip flops on when showering!
There was no organisation when we arrived, just had to pitch where you could which led to overcrowding in some areas.
The positives were the location - sea and sand just a 1 minute walk from the site, you could hear the sea at night, a 5 minute walk into chapel, 20 mins into ingoldmills and 25 into chapel village.
The hot water was free and plentiful and although not clean the showers were powerful. With a bit of investment this site could be fantastic, I would have paid a couple of pound more a night to have a clean loo!
