Excellent fairly basic site. £4 per unit and £4person.
Small toilet block with loads of hot water. 1 shower for male and 1 for females.
Very friendly owner.
1 big meadow and 3 small paddocks.
Bit tight gateways, some road noise if you pitch near A38.
Very attractive site with stone Farmhouse and nice atmosphere. Chickens running free and loved watching the collie dog trying to round them up.
Within 200m of nice quality pub Winfords Arms.
Bristol dockside interesting with SS Great Britain and sailing ships lots of shops etc
Going back soon to site not Bristol thank god we had a sat nav
Go up onto Clifton downs to view suspension bridge and long view of severn bridge

Fantastic site, we arrived all ready to camp and unaware of the bad rain in the Bristol area. Met Rich who was lovely and really helpful, he was worried about us camping in the rain and offered us the barn conversion instead.
This was amazing! Beautiful site, for camping and for B and B, nothing was too much trouble for Rich who went out of his way to make this a fantastic stay.
We were only there for 1 night at a darts exhibition at Ashton Gate, but following this we will definitely be returning to this site for more than just a night!
By far one of the best sites we have been on and highly recommended.

Lovely site with 4 fields to choose from and very few campers at this time of year. Showers hot and free. Chickens run freely around the field and come to visit. Owners are very friendly nice people. Good rates too.
But. The main road that runs alongside it is very noisy day and night. If you can bear the constant road noise then perfect. Unfortunately we couldn't acclimatise ourselves to it and had to leave.
Shame as perfect site otherwise with lots of lovely space and well positioned to visit the south west and all its attractions.
Definitely give it a go if you don't mind the road.

Im usually a posh camper and always ring the sites to get a feel of what the owners are like. I was told the site was not finished but open and though they do not yet have electric hook ups its something the owners are planning in the future.
Though I was told the site was basic I gave the camp site a go expecting a run down site.
What I didn't expect was a stunning farm house with surrounding gardens lit up at night with music around the site for all too enjoy. Richard and ali made us feel so welcome I didn't want too leave.
The shower block was clean and warm and iv been promised will shortly get a plug for us girlies to straighten our hair. When its finished it will be perfect.
Richard and Ali believe in limited rules which is my kind of campsite. As long as you have respect for your neighbours then they are happy.
We were allowed to vacate the site later in the day instead of the usual you must leave by 10am nonsense.
You can also hire out firepits for £6 per evening which was something no other site offers.
This site now has my custom for life.
Thanks for the brill weekend.
