Now called Ryton Farm and is a real gem of a find. There are 9 level hardstanding pitches with both electric and water. They have recently added toilet and shower facilities which are immaculate and kept very clean for the use of caravanners only and accessed with a code.
There are 4 coarse fishing lakes on the site - this is the main reason we went there as my husband and brother in law took great delight in fishing in the ponds which were very well stocked and they caught over 70 fish between them the heaviest of which was 16lb.
Only downside is that you have to have 2 nights over the weekend but still worth it.

This is a real gem of a peaceful, getaway from it all site.
The pitches are all hardstanding although there is plenty of grass around if that's your want. The CL area is relatively level with the standings being flat. (£8 pn)
Water is available from a standpipe in the corner of the area, with a good strong flow - great for filling big tanks. The only downside is the tap has an industrial size screw thread so a bit fiddly, not taking the standard domestic fitting.
EHU (£4 pn + £5 returnable deposit for the access key) was available at each pitch (9 pitches) The waste dumping point is tucked away behind a hedge also in a corner of the field.
A portable toilet is available on site but no other facilities.
The site is adults only, presumably mainly because the site is surrounded by about 5 fishing lakes so could be hazardous. If you are into fishing - you will be spoilt for choice!
