We recently stayed here for 3 nights, (2 adults and 2 young boys). The site is on a gentle slope but very easy to level with ramps. Electric hook up points are very modern and no issues at all.
The site is small but that's the real appeal, our boys could run in the fields and play games without fear of passing traffic that you can get with larger sites.
Yes, there currently is one toilet and one shower, but the owner has almost finished 2 brand new bathrooms!. This site is back to basics, no regimented rules or curfew times for young children.
Really enjoyed our stay, plus fresh eggs can be brought, as laid by their very own chickens, there are also 2 peacocks which the kids liked. Will definitely be going back soon.

Just returned from our first visit to this site, hopefully it won't be our last!
Friendly owner greeted us on arrival and helped us with lending us a hook up cable to run across to a hardstanding as the field was a bit damp.
Adequate toilet and shower (1 of each). Small woodland area for the dog.
Very peaceful site in a great location for visiting Bodiam Castle, Dymchurch miniture railway, Kent & East Sussex steam railway, Bewl Water, Bedgebury, etc.
Fantastic walk to Northiam through glorious countryside from the site. If going to Northiam seek out the Hayes Inn - really lovely and friendly country pub with some very interesting history - including a working internal well!
Site great value for money.

We spent a very relaxing five days at Eagles Garth campsite. We had a very warm welcome from the owner and decided to pitch up on the hard standing area, as the weather was very wet and windy. There were however two other units on the camping field and they had no problems.
The facilities, although basic, are more than adequate. There's plenty of hot water in the shower and washing up area. Toilet nice and clean.
A great base for touring the area and we would definitely use this site again. Really good value for money.

A lovely little site set just outside Rye.
A little bit uneven for tenting however that could of been where we pitched as we did not have much day light left.
Only down side was that there is only one toilet and shower. As we were the only tenters it was not a problem. The walk to the block was a very pretty path with fairies and pixies set in little scenes.
The site is friendly and there's a nice walk in the woods for doggies.

A small site in lovely surrounding countryside with interesting villages and towns - plenty to do and see [Bodiam Castle river trip and steam train ride topping the list].
The site itself is mostly level and we[a party of three tents]were told we could pitch anywhere on good sized pitches which was great as we set up together without interfering with anyone else.
All in all a pleasant bank holiday weekend but with one negative, one toilet and one shower all in the same room as the wash up area is not ideal when busy, although the owner did say they would be adding to this in the near future.
Once this is done we would definitely visit again as we would really like to see more of this part of the south east.

Lovely little site. Went with friends and we had 2 small toddlers with us. Lots of space for them to play and run around.
Very friendly owners and great location for lots of things, including steam trains, castles and coasts.
The only thing I would say is that although the toilet and shower facilities are clean with lots of hot water there is only 1 of each and they are communal. Not a problem but it did mean that there was pretty much always a queue on busy bank holiday weekend.
We had a very windy, but nice weekend here. The children loved the chickens, peacocks and horse!

I was a bit concerned about booking this site as there were no reviews and they had space last minute on a hot Easter bank holiday weekend but I was pleasantly surprised.
I took my family of 4 children aged 4 and 8. The owners were really friendly and very helpful and it ticked all our boxes which are hot showers, allows fires (off ground but they did provide bricks for this) and had electric hook ups.
It is a very small and very peaceful campsite with more than ample space for each unit. My 8 year old was a bit disappointed there were no other children to play with and this is probably due to the fact that the site is so small and they have no play facilities, however we brought our own entertainment and were never made to feel like our children were a nuisance so was not a huge problem.
Near to a steam train and Bodiam Castle. Nice touches by the owners include local info in the shower block such as shops doctors etc, a little rose / garden gnome walk currently in progress but still nice.
All in all this is excellent value for money.
