We loved this site, tucked away from the beaten track.
It has expected amenities which were clean but basic. Advised which way to park to avoid the wind.
We had all weather during our weekend and saw campers being relocated from the wet and chickens running free.
It's a livery also so many horses. Our ancient dog was walked around the site taking us onto the beach.
Good value for money and we will be back.

Just returned from moss side and looking to book up again.
I was looking for a no frills quiet site close to a beach with somewhere to go walks then sit back & do nothing and that’s what we got. We were in a VW campervan in a field with a great view but there were hard standing pitches also.
The owner Gary is a helpful happy chappy, he made sure my husband got a spot with EHU so he could watch football while I sunbathed.
We had a great view of the beach and saw the biggest jelly fish ever.
I’d read the toilet block was basic but it was a sufficient. Somewhere to wash dishes & shower too. If your looking for peace & quiet this place is for you. We’ve returned relaxed and recharged. I loved the fact no one was next to us in a huge field. No noisy neighbours either.
Chickens roaming around the yard and horses in the fields, it was idyllic. It helped the sun was shining but we’d still go back whatever the weather 😎
£20 or £25 with electric hook up, fresh water taps, bins and waste disposal. Clean tidy site in the country.

Really friendly owner which is half the battle,
Perfect for our requirements, and to boot half a dozen fresh eggs from the on site chickens. Fresh is always best 👌

What a lovely quiet and peaceful campsite with fabulous views across the Solway.
The shower and toilet facilities are more basic than some sites but are absolutely fine.
Gary is really helpful and friendly

Very quiet and serene site.
Basic facilities with spectacular view.
Short road down a little bumpy but manageable in a motorhome.
Walks along the soloway firth very pretty.

Gary was quick to respond to our emails and booking.
The site itself is really serene and particularly nice if you are a birdwatcher.
There was also a porpoise or dolphin feeding in the Solway.
Really loved it and will return!

Lovely site with basic facilities but a great host and views.
The pitches were near enough level and well kept.
Booking was easy, the owner knew what names to expect.

What a fantastic find. Wonderful warm welcome and huge area to decide where to go.
Excellent value, right on the waters edge - always like a beach walk before breakfast.
Basic clean adequate facilities.
Look forward to staying again in a weeks time

Well located and great amenities for the price.
Hot shower (if a little small, but I am 6 foot tall), toilets, washing up with scourers and soap, drinking water and flat pitches for tent.
The chap (Gary) was really friendly and we spoke about the wildlife, as whilst in conversation a Barn Owl flew over and continued to do so all evening.
Would recommend.
