Just returned home after spending 9 nights on this very well appointed site. All the pitches were hard standing and wider than normal and each pitch is fully serviced. The site is mainly very quiet apart from the odd helicopter and of course agricultural vehicles which posed no issues. The owner is very amicable and the his dog too though we saw little of it. The facilities are excellent though a WC separate from the shower would have enabled us to award a full house of stars. As it is, it's quite the best CL we have ever visited. Well done boss!

Stayed here for 3 nights on our way to Devon. Easy to find. Very nice well laid out adult only CL with generous hard standing pitches, each with own EHU & water tap & grey water drain. Just needed slight levelling with small block. Very peaceful countryside location. Didn't use the on site facilities - so unable to comment on them. Narrow farm road on approach to CL - hence the strict arrival time - to avoid vans meeting in the lane. Visited Frome - very quaint old part to the town & nearby Nunney a delightful village that was holding a summer fayre - which is an annual event we learnt & was superb - we spent several hours wandering around & listening to the live music in the grounds of the old castle ruins. Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to this area & will definitely return to Alice Street Farm for a longer stay - as there are many places of interest nearby.

Beautiful, peaceful site, it was just a one night stop over for us but we thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings.
Friendly owners.
Easy to find.
Facilities are more than adequate.
Level hardstanding spaces with ample room.
Fresh water and disposal point at each plot.
Good access lane. Ideally situated for Longleat.

This is one of the best CLs we have booked and we fully enjoyed our week there. The pitches are well spaced, hard and level. They all come with individual water and electricity points and grey water disposal. There is also plenty of room for awnings and a car. The site is well back from the main road and is therefore quiet, with pleasant outlook over fields. The owner, who seems to be more into caravan storage than farming, was very helpful and welcoming. There is even a unisex toilet and shower facility that is kept spotlessly clean and has free hot water and a heater. The information hut is full of leaflets, menus for local eateries (The George at Nunney is very good but not cheap)and maps. Some of the info is, however, in need of updating. There is even a library of paperbacks!
The area is off the tourist beaten track, except for Longleat, but is well worth exploring. There are some lovely villages. It is rare for us to give top marks, but this site deserves the accolade!

Lovely five van site, caravns all in a row so no-one looking into your window. Pleanty of space between each pitch, fully seviced pitches.
2 miles away, turning right out of the site is Nunney, The George does good food and Nunney is a lovely village with a Spar shop. 2 miles to the left out of the site is Batcombe, the Three Horseshoes is also great for food and drinks.
Be aware the entrance to the site is narrow with no plassing places and several pot holes near to the CL.
Also the owners dog, wanders the CL site daily and seems to use it as its toilet! otherwise a great spot.

Thought we'd give this CL a try for a weekend after reading about it in a magazine.
And in truth it is a very nice little site as CL's go, all the pitches are hard standing, and come complete with ehu, water and grey waste.
Now the downsides, the toilet which is a very nice wet room, except there was no hot water(waiting for part for boiler), the lock on the door was broken, had to stand guard for the wife!
The owner was very pleasant and helpful, and there were no do, s and don, ts. In fact he has a Labrador which seems to roam around the site at will, in fact it left us 3 little unwanted gifts outside our van, no big deal for us we are dog owners ourselves, but would be a bit upset if I had kids with me. If you are like us and like to leave the van and walk to the pub/shop you can't there seems to be nothing within safe walking distance.
Will we return? probably not.

This was the first time we had used a CL site and were unsure what to expect. We were using this as a stopover for one night but were really impressed with the facilities.
The pitch was large, level and fully serviced and the surrounding countryside and views were wonderful, so quiet and peaceful
There was a small hut with local information and footpath across the fields to allow the dog to stretch her legs.
The proprietor greeted us on arrival with a smile, nothing seemed too much trouble
We would love to return and spend longer exploring the local area.

Alice Street Farm is just a beautiful place to visit. A CL that has been designed by a caravan user who knows what is needed for a hassle free stay.
Easy to plumb in and out with individual water on each hardstanding. Separate electricity blocks, each with lights at night.
Plenty of opportunity to exercise on foot with or without dog or drive out to very convenient shops (Sainsburys 5 minutes, ASDA 7).
Perfectly situated for visiting the many sites in Somerset. A place we'll continue to return to, time and time again.
Lovely to see it full, as long as there's always room for us!
