We stayed here for two nights on the way back from Garda, the pitch was adequate and I think we could have got our awning up OK. Ample room behind caravan to park car which was accessible using another campsite road. We used the acsi card here. Small children's playground directly opposite amenities. Very amenable warden, who pointed us to the information we asked for. Toilet and showers were good and I didn't have to wait even with the site virtually full. The pitch we had was beneath a conker tree and they were dropping with regularity. A couple of times we were awoken with the crash of them landing on the roof. We also collected a large amount of walnuts as there are loads of these trees about. The town which is a short walk away is a GEM, stunningly beautiful houses dating back hundreds of years. There are numerous vintners in town and free tastings of the produce are available from many. We did and bought some nice wine to bring home, which are now resplendent in my wine rack, but not for long I expect. There are plenty of restaurants in town.

Stayed here for 6 nights mainly to tour the surrounding area. As has been mentioned before the local villages are very beautiful and everything you need is nearby. A visit to the 'Trois Chateaux' up on the hill behind the site was disappointing as there's not much to see. Also I feel the site could do with some severe pruning of trees so the ground underneath can improve. Our awning was ruined by being stained by falling tree seed pods so beware if you are given pitches 51 or 50. Mirielle (warden) was very pleasant and spoke excellent English.

We stayed here as an overnight stop on the way to Switzerland. Pitches were small for our van at 6. 29mtrs but ok for just 1 night. The lovely village of Eguisheim is worth a visit and only a 10 min walk away, it has a few bars and restaurants plus the usual tourist shops, This village attracts hundreds of Storks and they are perched everywhere. This is probably one of the most beautiful villages/towns I have ever visited, the streets are very narrow with buildings overhanging a bit like the Shambles in York. We would have liked a couple more days here as there looked to be some nice walks in the surrounding vineyards and up to the Chateaux. The road up to this site is very narrow. We paid 14. 10 Euros for the 1 night with hook up.

We stayed here for a week recently with our Dandy folding camper to explore the Alsace and also visit the nearby Black Forest.
As mentioned by a previous reviewer the pitches are not huge, but are separated by lots of trees making the site seem very green and pleasant. The site seemed to be largely populated by Dutch caravaners who were friendly. The site itself is just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of the lovely peaceful village of Eguisheim and the whole area is surrounded by vineyards.
This is a quiet site with a very small playground, I guess the surrounding area isn't really geared up with much for kids to enjoy as most fellow campers seemed to be older couples (although it was not yet school holidays).
Toilet block and washing up area is very clean.
The beautiful town of Colmar is very close by and I would also recommend a trip to Strasbourg which has a lovely old quarter which can be viewed on a boat trip.
All in all highly recommended site in a fabulous corner of France (sometimes Germany)

Spent 4 nights here on the way to German F1 grand prix. First impressions, modern reception, very busy, almost all pitches in the shade, typical continental free range with not much separating individual plots.
A feeling of being a bit crammed in, forget it if you have a twin axle. That said toilets and shower facilities were good even considering how busy it was. Now the best bit. The village of Eguishiem is stunning and so is the surrounding area.
Having done a great deal of travelling this has to come in at the top. Its hard to describe, you just have to go. The alsase is wonderful even if your not too keen on sweet wine, you wont be disappointed.
