Another successful weekend at Millbrook. Once again a big thank you to Richard and Jo for such a lovely stay. Its an ideal spot if you just want to chill out after a hard week at work. Grounds and facilities were once again found to be immaculate.
Very peaceful and relaxing and once again the dog enjoyed his trips to the beach which is within walking distance from the site and has its own dog friendly section where they can run around to their hearts content.
All in all the three of us had a lovely time

Visited this site because of the reviews and we were not disappointed. Its a perfect location for rest and recuperation and its adults only.
There is ample space for each unit so you have your own little bit of privacy. On arrival we were met by the 'Groundsman' Richard (always around should you need him) who showed us to our pitch then the grand tour of all the facilities. Although we are self sufficient and wouldn't be needing some of them I have to say everything we were shown was immaculate.
Once settled we met Jo who arrived with an information leaflet crammed with really useful information, where to go, how to get there, where to eat, drink etc. And just a few site rules.
Its a lovely leisurely walk to the beach with the dog who I think has had the best time romping in the sea every day and it was never overcrowded.
Think we're going to have to make this one of our regular haunts as thoroughly impressed with the site and its owners who strive to keep it in 5* condition.

This is a quiet camp site for over 18s only, there was plenty of room, electric hook up, and some basic facilities. There were two toilets and sinks to wash in, but only cold water, the toilets were spotlessly clean, there was a shower that costs 20p for 6 minutes again very clean.
The warden was very friendly and helpful, there is a cabin with information about the local area and has DVDs and books and games to borrow.
The site is just outside Sandilands and you can easily walk to the Sea front.

After having been treated like children on arrival at another nearby site and promptly leaving, this 'adults only' site was very welcoming. The lady met us at the gate and showed us to our pitch, which was nice and level with neatly cut grass. There was plenty of space for our motorhome and awning plus our 2 dogs (who were also welcomed and well-accomodated).
The facilities on site were limited and basic, but get 10 out of 10 for cleanliness. Despite the site being full, we didn't have to queue. There is currently no hot water but it looks as though it is being installed.
If you want a quiet relaxing, welcoming site which is adults only, and you are treated like an adult, then this is for you. At £15 per night it is a bargain too!

What a lovely site, we were given a choice between two pitches by Jo the owner, who was really friendly, this said she left us to it and was only there if we needed her.
Most has been said about this site, toilets were spotless with 'luxury'paper no less. Can't comment on the shower as we used our own.
Grass is kept lovely with no loose bits, and there are benches around the site, the walk down the mown footpath to the sea front is lovely.
There is a bus stop just up the road but we were amused as it says on the info leaflet, the bus will stop outside the site but you have to wave like mad.
We were there at the same time as the two girls in the previous review but as we were on the caravan area we didn't hear them. What we did observe is that for some reason they seemed to think the 'dogs on leads rule' didn't apply to them and were continually chasing after their two dogs. We had no encounter with them but had it affected me I would have spoken to the owners.
Fish and chips from Sutton were lovely though a long wait as they get very busy.
Can recommend Daves at Mablethorpe, had Daves 'famous' steak pie and it was one of the best I've had, along with five. Yes FIVE veg.
We will be returning for sure, that's if we can get in, it's so popular, though I think it's easier with a tent.

Just back from 5 nights at Millbrook. A lovely campsite well maintained by Richard & Jo. They let us choose from a couple of spots, took payment from us (ONLY cash or Paypal)then showed us a list of site rules, then told us where they were if we needed them. They left us too it all week.
The site is very tranquil, there is a hum from the road at busy times, but there is also a hum from the sea too. The birds sing in the trees and it is a perfect site to sit silently outside your unit (we had a folding camper)and chill. The walk to the beach (timed on a leisurely evening stroll) was 9 minutes. We checked it out on google & thought it would be longer! We then walked to Sutton-on-Sea along the beach, this was even peaceful.
The site only had one shower (6 minutes for 20p) but we never had to queue, one female & one male toilet.
Sadly, Friday saw two rowdy girls turn up, and where I stated that we were left in peace to relax & chill, it dawned on us that no-one was policing the site for noise! They started at 4pm and our silence was broken till 2am. Their dog started barking at 6:10am. This is the only reason we haven't given the site 10 stars. They deserved 10 stars up till this point. I did share with Richard Saturday morning and he did say we should have rang the house (number on the leaflet we were given) and they would have sorted it out. But we felt it wasn't right to disturb them.

Just spent a few days at Millbrook, the site was always clean and tidy. Don't be put off by the fact that the toilets and the shower room (singular) have no hot water to them. It did'nt really present a problem. The showers are pay as you go but at 20p for 6 mins is OK. A small site (5 vans) with spacious pitches and hook ups, the facilities were clean and for £15 per night on an adult only site, good value. I have been to this area before so checked out the market at Louth (Wednesday) and Claythorpe Water Mill. Not so much to do at the water mill but a nice place to stop for a cuppa.

Loved this site. Owners extremely friendly and helpful. Dog friendly. Short walk to the beach which is also dog friendly. Pleasantly surprised by the area as not a coastline I know well and also beautiful countryside inland. Short walk to Sutton on Sea where there are shops and pubs. Toilet block and separate shower room very clean. Shower is 20p for 6 mins which is plenty. Will definitely return, hopefully soon. Only downside, which was my fault, turned in to soon and ended up in bungalow driveway. Road extremely busy, but luckily had friend with me who stopped traffic so that I could reverse out onto road and then turn into proper entrance. Not fault of owners, electricity board doing some work on road and had red and white barriers up round hole which blocked main direction sign.

Just returned from a Bank Holiday weekend here and have to say we had a fantastic stay.
It was our second time here, having stayed late last year. We were given a great pitch in a sunny position, which was large enough for our car, caravan, awning and they even allowed us to put up windbreakers to keep the dogs enclosed too.
To say the site was fairly busy we didn't have to queue at all for the loo's or shower. The beach is a mere 5 minute walk along a grass path, which is frequented by many dog walkers coming and going to the beach.
There is lots of info on site for local attractions, fish and chip shops, chinese and indian restaurants, etc. There are loads of books and magazines if you're stuck for reading material and if that's not enough you only have to ask and the owners will answer your queries.
The site is very well kept and the owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. It was a pleasure to stay here and can't wait to return later on in the year, thoroughly recommended.
