 We had a lovely weekend away, very clean friendly and Very helpful.
Weather wasn’t great but it didn’t stop us from have a nice time

Very trusting, relaxed and friendly owners who could not do enough for us and were on site a lot during the day to help.
Plenty of space and good location for all the local Suffolk beaches. Our grandsons loved fossil hunting on Bawdsey beach and Ramsholt cliffs.
We used our own facilities but it was good to see around the facilities lots of anti-bacterial cleaner /hand sanitiser which was available at all times. All the facilities are used on an honesty basis just leaving payment in a box at very reasonable rates.
Everyone observed the 'quiet from 10pm' ruling.
Very much enjoyed our stay.

All very good. Welcomed as we arrived and site was very nice. Had fresh veggies available from the owner's plot to buy.
Will come again.
Didn't feel overcrowded and we were separate from the caravans which was good.

Lovely little campsite, with very helpful owners. Lots of space, easy to social distance and lots of added extras like toaster, microwave etc in the communal wash area.
The toilets facilities are looking a bit old and could do with a bit of a deep clean, but anti-bacterial cleaner was available in every single toilet and shower cubicle at all times. Hand sanitiser was also available at all times.
Would recommend to others.

Loved being able to have a fire bowl, access to the surrounding fields and the clean facilities.
There is access to freezer, fridges, washing machines, kettle, toaster and microwave as well as kitchen areas to wash up and showers.
Nice crowd of campers who were friendly and not rowdy and the owners were very friendly and helpful.
Great base for exploring Suffolk.

An absolute delightful setting close to the town.
Clean and the most friendly owners you could meet.
Could not be more relaxed and helpful.

First time for us at Applefield and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A great campsite.
The facilities were excellent. Showers, fridge, freezer, washing machine, linen line and outside sink with running hot water. Plus all the pitches have electric hook up if you want it.
The lady that runs it was very friendly. We will certainly be going back there. Your only minutes from the town centre and Sizewell beach.

Just back from our week away, had a lovely time at this site. Good facilities, kept clean.
Nice flat site and easy to walk or drive to beaches nearby.
Owner picks veg for you to buy too, tomatoes were very tasty. Showers are 50p, but don’t worry bringing loads of 50ps, as it works on an honesty box basis. We just added ours to the final total when I paid before we left.

Great little campsite with good facilities. Nothing was too much trouble for them, owners were lovely.
Toilets and showers always clean and well stocked.
Great location for exploring definitely be going back!
Only addition to make it 10/10 for me would be a shop to buy a pint a milk but the shops aren't far away.
