This site is fantastic, well kept areas, great playing facilities for smaller children. I'm not into fishing but if it's your thing they had a huge lake on site. The toilet and shower block are the best I have seen nice and clean and showers that you just don't want to get out of. They have a small on site shop stocked with all the important things that you might just run out of. The family who run it are very friendly and can offer very helpful information about the surrounding area. We took our bikes and there are plenty of designated quiet roads that you can easily take children on safely. Plenty of things to do of site if the weather gets bad and your not to far from the coast for a nice day at the beach. I can not recommend this site enough it's fantastic I have already given the address to a few friends and look forward to going back as soon as possible.

We have just returned from a great weekend at Deers Glade. The site is a credit to the owners and staff, we visited after reading other reviews and we were not disappointed. The facilities are excellent and are spotlessly clean at all times and very warm, it was a busy weekend and it looked as if the site was full but we never had to wait for a shower & there was always plenty of hot water. We enjoyed a days fishing on the lake there are a lot of fish in there, & we managed to catch a few. What more can I say, we will be going back soon.

Oh wow- what a LOVELY site, this has to be one of the friendliest, safest sites I've ever visited. Lovely trendy new facilities that are cleaned numerous times through the day. Owners that are happy to help, whatever the weather or the enquiry. A free on-site minibus to the local pub - departing at 7pm and 9pm every night - returning to collect you from the pub at 9pm or 11pm. A little shop that sounds local produce, like organic bacon and daily fresh bread plus they can order daily newspapers for you. A beautiful area, set amongst forest and woodlands. A well stocked fishing lake (speak to site re licensing rules) and 6 miles from the hustle and bustle of the seaside town of Cromer. This is such a friendly, happy site. Even when it rained we enjoyed it!

Just returned from our second visit here in a year. Unfortunately, this time the weather was awful. However, we still really like this site. The standards of last year are still there, which is extremely high. Fortunately there are plenty of places to visit close by when the weather is bad - several NT properties close by. The owners were fantastic when we decided to stay an extra night, as the weather had brightened up, and spent time rearranging pitches for the following day so that we could stay. I am sure that we will be returning next year and hope for better weather!

We are just back from spending a week on this site and I can only echo the previous posts it is a fantastic site. The owners and wardens are exceptionally friendly and bend over backwards to help you. The toilets and showers are even cleaned in the middle of the night which impressed me,and have underfloor heating. The woodland walks are amazing and local area very nice We will definitely go back.

This is a very attractive site, pretty, secluded, and as it was the day after bank holiday, nice and quiet. The owners, David and Heather are a wonderful couple, very helpful, honest and welcoming. The electric hook ups and broadband are included in the price, per night charge. The toilet blocks are modern, clean, warm, with lovely hot showers, hair dryers, clean sinks with mirrors. Facilities for washing dishes, clothes, tumble drying, emptying el sans, filling up fresh water, dumping rubbish etc. The pitches are excellent, fairly flat, with hard standing, plus grass area. After all the rain the grass was not wet and muddy. Their is fishing from their lake, and also a small lake with doves and geese, surrounded by a wooden slatted fence. There is a children's play area which is very adequate. They have a small shop with most things you would require, plus emergency phone, with relevant emergency numbers. The town of cromer is about 5 miles away, very quaint but busy, with all the shops to satisfy your needs. Attractions are all along the coast which should satisfy every taste.

Highly recommended site. Good clean toilets and hot showers. Very friendly helpful staff. Shop seemed open all day and although not 'fully stocked' it did the job. Main shops only short trip down road so no complaints. Very spacious level pitches, each had a electric hock-up. Children's play area was basic (1 slide and sand pit) but they seemed to make up their own games (unusual these days!) and it also meant no groups hanging around in the wee hours making lots of noise. They also had a man on site doing face painting who was excellent. Have you ever seen 10 children looking like darliks (doctor who) running around shouting exxxxxxterminateeeeee ! brilliant . Bike hire on site was a nice touch . Lovely woodland walks/dog walks through the local area. Overall I would put this site at the top of anybody's list and we will definitely be returning. 10/10 site

Spent three nights at this lovely site over the may day bank holiday, our first time camping as a family of 4. After a nightmare 8.5 hour journey (A14 was closed due to an accident) we were personally shown to our pitch by a very friendly member of staff and proceeded to pitch the tent for the first time ever in the dark (not funny). Pitches were large enough for the diablo tent we had bought and the shower and toilet blocks are superb, the play area is basic but enough to keep the kids busy with an area for ball games a small lake and a lovely woodland walk. Overall a very nice site to sit and have a peaceful bbq and unwind with enough to do a short car drive away. Would highly reccommend this site to anyone and was ideal for our first attempt at camping. Even the mrs enjoyed it (shocking)

Stayed here over Bank Holiday and found both the staff and facilities of a very high standard. Had booked a pitch for a caravan and 2 tents pitches and the lady who took us to the pitch couldn't have been more helpful. As the tenters were arriving late she ensured no one pitch around us so we could all be together. The toilet block was immaculate and often found teenage girls chatting in there as it was so warm. We took advantage of the free courtesy mini bus to the local pub and enjoyed a good meal. The caravan pitches were spacious and once the hedging grows they will also be quite private. The children enjoyed the play park and the fishing. Good location, visited Sheringham Park and went crabbing at Blakeney. Will definetely come back again.

Just returned from 4 days at this lovely site. On arrival you are greeted and taken to your pitch by the very helpful and friendly hosts. My first impression was how clean and well maintained the site is. The toilets and showers were very clean, however the pir operated lights did seem a little dim, but never found myself in the dark. The shop only sells the bare essentials so you will you need to travel about 5 miles for main provisions. The park has lovely walks through the woods and is a great base for exploring the norfolk coast. Overall I could not fault the site and would highly recommend a stay there.
