July 2005 We have just returned from 2 weeks at this site. The facilities were immaculate. Laundry facilities great. An iron is available at no extra charge, just ask the warden, much better than using a travel iron.
The site is small but this dosn't mean the pitches are. If you let the wardens know what you require when you book they will do their best to accomodate whatever your outfit. We had a caravan plus a small tent for the children, they found us a lovely corner pitch with extra space.(no extra charge for the tent) The wardens couldnt do enough for us, they helped us pitch, gave us directions to the nearest supermarkets told us about the area, where to go, where not to go.
when I enquired about a local air show they went on the internet and printed off all the info they could find for us. They really added to the enjoyment of our holiday.

July 2005 This is the second time to this little park. Good sized pitches but let them know how big your tent is so they can put you on an adequate sized pitch. Swimming pool is clean and has been open on both our visits. Small shop sells very basic items and limited supplies. Newspapers can be ordered for collection in the mornings. Washing facilities are kept clean, games room was open, and there is a bar open in the evenings... The wardens are available if needed and cant do enough to help.friendly and helpful..I have already booked for our third week-end..

June 2005 Site is small but very clean, lovely clean facilities. Small play area, warm clean swimming pool. Each pitch is marked with a fence panel either side or a row of small trees. The wardens were very helpful and on site if you needed them. We will be going back.

June 2005 Just returned from a fabulous weekend here. Nice smallish site with very, very clean facilities. Great showers and plenty of hot water. The swimming pool was most welcome as the weather was so hot. Decent size pitches and good playing area for the kids. There is a bridle path running alongside the site which is ideal for dog walking but watch out for the horseflies! The bar and games room comes in very handy although the bar is only open in the evenings. There is a small shop which isn`t very well stocked. Just the bare essentials but this is the only downside to the site in my opinion. Having said that the nearest supermarket and town is only about 5 miles away if you need anything. Everywhere was spotlessly clean which is always a big plus for me.All in all an excellent site and I would highly recommend a stay here.

May 2005 Just visited again with a group of family and friends. 3 pitches actually stayed for 9 nights. Site still as good. New wardens whose level of attention and customer service was excellent. Amongst other things, they loaned one of our party an extension to allow an electric hook up, found wooden boards to allow car to be jacked up to change the tyre as it was sinking into the grass and provided maps to any places that we needed.(Bicester Shopping Village, Kwik Fit, Sainsburys, Tesco, pubs, etc.) The site was clean and the pool was also open. Will definitely return. Either later this year or certainly next year.

May 2005 Swimming pool advertised as being open, shut. Bar advertised as being open, shut. Sat watching TV in the TV/games room when in walks owner at 22.58 and switches everything off. Showers clean and tidy. Site clean and tidy.

August 2004 Spent a lovely few days here. Needed two pitches for our large dome and sons' three man tent but also had room for gazebo so lots of living area. Staff friendly and helpful. Facilities beautifully clean. Teenagers liked the games room and swimming pool and over 16's were allowed in the bar to play snooker in the evening. Site small and intimate - excellent. Would definitely return.

August 2004 Just spent a long weekend at this site couldn't agree more with other reviews. Make sure you request a large pitch if you have a large outfit. Very helpful ultra clean, good facilities, nice little bar. Had great chinese delivered. Our teenagers were kept occupied with the pool and play area. Will visit again.

July 2004 Just spent weekend at site. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the wardens were very friendly, helpful and informative. Good sized free outdoor swimming pool with deep and shallow ends seperated for safety. Have booked already for next year with a group of friends. Warden very happy to discuss pitches as our group will consist of a carvan, trailer tent and tents. Could not have been more friendly. Can't wait to go back with children. Must make sure wife and daughters keep away from nearby Bicester shopping village. Very close and easy to spend money!! whilst I relax in pool or play on full size snooker table or pool tables. Pitches are flat. Some are quite small. We have a 6 berth frame tent and managed to just get this ,our car and trailer on the pitch. However, if we had another car there is other car parking close to the reception.

July 2004 Just looked in here as we were in the area. Lovely compact little site : takes both tents and caravans. Booked up until the end of August. Small pitches ..lovely owner ..couldn't have been more friendly. Everything sparkling. Need to book ..dinky little site nice views over fields from edge pitched .. litle camping field at the end . As has been said ..very close and compact ..but we would certainly consider a weekday out of season. Lovely considerate owners..
