One of the nicest sites we have ever stayed on. It is still very new and it can only get better. The owners could not have been more helpful and made you feel very welcome. The pitches are flat and well kept, when the hedges separating different touring areas grow it will be great. The facilities are like home from home. We have never seen or used such good facilities they were cleaning them constantly. The on site fishing provided hubby with entertainment and the children enjoyed the play area and sand pit (good job they had a laundry room!). Whilst we didn't use it saw many others using the wireless internet service, we did use the TV hook up. You can hire or buy a huge length of tv cable for £6 from the office - great value! Can't wait to go again.

What more can be said to add to the good reviews already left? This is our first site visited since we started caravanning. We have now been three times in the last few weeks and our only problem is that we're afraid to try anywhere else in case it doesn't live up to Deers Glade. Friendly family run site, fantastic shower / toilet blocks (always very clean), lovely dog walks and bike rides, relaxed peaceful atmosphere, shop good for bits and pieces. We are going to Wales shortly and only wish we could take this little gem with us!

Excellent site - only live locally - but could have been anywhere! Cannot emphasise enough the wonderful shower/ toilet block. Really big pitches and lovely country walks. Kids enjoyed the fishing and even caught quite a few! Really is a wonderful site for holiday makers to come to - central for our fine City Norwich - and very close to our lovely north Norfolk beaches. Brilliant.

Could not have picked a better place for our first try at camping. After phoning around numerous places who were all fully booked Deer's Glade had room for us at short notice. Fabulous showers and toilets. Really friendly staff. Good little shop on site for basic food. Shame they didn't have more stock but then again we would of just stuffed our faces more!

Having just enjoyed a short break at this site I feel compelled to give it a decent review. The site is maintained in excellent condition. The grass is as short as a golf course fairway and the toilet block is hotel standard and regularly cleaned throughout the day. The staff were always extremely friendly and we were even escorted to our pitch on arrival by the owner in person! The kids' play area is rather limited but as there in enough safe areas to play in with footballs etc that more than made up for it. A definite 5 Stars from us!

Excellent facilities as per the many comments. Very friendly site - families who were there were happy to chat and let you know where your little ones had got to if you lost sight of them. Small play area used by children of different ages who all played happily together! Small selection of toys in shop very reasonably priced.
Site really well maintained and obviously spent lot of money planting lots of bushes shrubs and trees. They could promote recycling more as there were many who didn't bother and just put everything in the rubbish. Want to go back! What more recommendation can you get than that. Alysham excellent for day out, tea-room, 2 butchers, Budgens supermarket great little market town that is only 5 mins approx south on the A140. Narrow guage railway trip to Wroxham well worth it. You can cycle or walk the route next to the train line.

Not the best of weather to start our holiday but our greeting from david and wendy upon our arrival more than made up for the weather. We have only just started camping but if this site is anything to go by we are certainly looking forward to some more weeks away. The toilets and shower block was immaculate and cleaned on a regular basis, the staff we're very helpful the shop stocked the basic things, and some good fishing. Well done to everybody we shall certainly be returning

Excellent Site. Showers/Toilets cleaned several times a day. Good Pitches. Shop has a few things but perhaps some fresh bread and vegetables would be nice. Had 2 teenagers and they did get a bit bored but weather was miserable rained every day! As said before, Cromer and Sheringham only 15-20 minutes away, preferred Sherringham, excellent Bakery, Greengrocer and Tea Shop. Morrisons in Cromer. We took some friends with us and they loved it so much have left their caravan there.

Wonderful site, well set out and the loos and showers were the best I have ever come across on a campsite. There was plenty of hot water, heated shower rooms and very, very clean loos. The couple who run the site are delightful and make you very welcome, telling you the site rules in a pleasant way. ( the 11 o'clock guidelines meant that the site was quiet at night and everyone got a good night's sleep, no drunkards reeling and singing all night) The shop has a few essentials including lovely local bacon and bread. We will go back, there is lots to see in this area and this site is the perfect base.

We stayed at this site for 3 nights over the May Bank Holiday and were very pleased and impressed with what we found. The owners of the site are very friendly and helpful, the pitches were of a good size and well maintained, the shower blocks (altho' there were only 2 showers in each, plus 2 individual wash cubicles), were beautifully clean and in immaculate condition. They were also lovely and warm, which was very welcome with some of the cold and windy days and nights we experienced.
The shop stocks basics and locally produced meats and bread. Altho' we didn't use it, they also operate a site minibus to the local pub. The site closes its gates at 11pm and has a warden who patrols. There is a pretty lake for fishing and woodland walks. This is a charming, well run site, ideal for couples and families - definitely not for rowdies!
