A lovely quiet site with fantastic, friendly owners.
Coronovirus procedures in place meant only one person at a time in the toilets /shower which meant a short wait occasionally but well worth the wait as they were spotless.
The site was well maintained with lovely well spaced pitches.
Would highly recommend and will be back next year.
A huge thanks to Karen and David.

Just returned from a very relaxing week spent at Westgate Farm Caravan site. Karen and David make you feel very welcome.
The adult only site is very peaceful and the sunsets were amazing.
We loved it so much we've booked for next year.

Excellent site. Really well-maintained and very peaceful.
Nice little walk down to the river and back, with the chance to spot a variety of wildlife.
Highly recommended.

Yet another fab week at Westgate, been coming here for 8 years and watched it grow from basically a field with some water points and a loo to what it is now an all fully serviced pitched peace of heaven.
Very tranquil, quiet and lovely views. Owners are fab and friendly, always there to help in time of need. Site is kept spotless and in this COVID time very very COVID prepared.
Only a small drive to the centre of Pickering or maybe a 30 min stroll. Easy access to the north York moors and seaside resort of Whitby.
It’s a first on the calendar site for us when we start booking sites.
We will definitely without a shadow of a doubt be back next year. If there’s spaces that is now as he gets full very quickly. Well worth visiting.
Footnote, adults only site now and £1 for the shower.

We hadn't stayed at this site for three or four years, but Dave managed to fit us in for 4 nights from 12th April when sites were opened up in England.
The transformation was amazing over what we had enjoyed before, and that was pleasant enough. However, having a fully serviced pitch and no noisy children was a real bonus and it was apparent that Dave and Karen have been working very hard at improving the site.
As ever, they were both very keen to make us feel welcome and make our stay enjoyable.
We enjoyed some great days out at Helmsley, Whitby and Thornton-le-Dale as they are all so accessible from the site.
Sadly for us it would seem the site is now so popular we may not get in for the rest of the year!
But thank you to Dave and Karen for all your hard work.

This was our first experience of travelling in a Motorhome and staying at campsites.
The owners were very friendly and helpful. Their campsite was well situated and easy to find. It had been very well planned and enhanced with a pond, trees and plants.
The pitches were large and well kept and there was an on site rural walk, as well as farm animals in the adjoining fields.

Our 1st ever caravan trip, lovely quiet and friendly site. We needed help with one or two things and other campers were very helpful.
The site itself is spotless, peaceful and scenic with a lively dog walk. Will definitely return

Our stay was fantastic, Dave and Karen were the perfect hosts,
The site is very clean and well manicured, all the animals on the farm were friendly including the alpacas.
We were so impressed we've booked again with them for another 5 nights in September.

A peaceful and quiet site with well spaced pitches, we enjoyed the walking trail beside the beck with our dog.
Due to the current situation the toilets and showers are closed but we have them in our motorhome and would not have needed anyway.
Chickens roaming free range and eggs for sale. Pickering is a very interesting town, and a good base for exploring this part of Yorkshire.
Highly recommended.
