Just returned from a lovely break at Arklow House Farm. The new wardens couldn't do enough for us. The site is well maintained. The toilet block was always clean and fresh. Only downside, there is only one male and one female toilet and shower combined. This meant that if someone was showering, no one else could use the loo. I never had to queue but hubby did.
Kings Head served good food although no children's menu but did do smaller portions. The beer was excellent (according to hubby)
My son loved the free range feel of the site. He was able to make friends and go and off and play incl golf (which is incl in price). I was happy that he was safe at all times.
Fishing lake very full according to another camper.
Overall great value for money £14 per night Easter BH golf and fishing included.
Note - There is a tree stump on the drivers side as you enter site. This caught us out as our unit is quite long and you can't see the stump.

We have been to here four times now. Yes it is windy but only to be expected on a flat site, nothing to break it up but the wind farms are miles away and not able to be heard unless of course you are doctor who or someone of ultra sensitive hearing (a cyberman lol). The owners maintain a fantastic very clean site, they cant do enough for you. We love it and will certainly be there again in a couple of weeks. Why go anywhere else when this site is all you ever need. (only problem is its quite a way to the shops) pub is good and only ten mins walk.

We had a great time at this site despite the weather being mostly wet. We were invited to the New Year celebrations by the site owners and we had a really good time, the family and neighbours all made us very welcome. Would definitely go again. Clean toilets and hot showers. Regarding the comments made by DaveG3 in connection with wind turbine noise and various other detrimental remarks makes us wonder if he was actually staying at the same site as we didn't experience any noise whatsoever, the only way you could here the turbines would possibly be with the aid of a parabolic directional microphone. Not sure which pub he went to but the one we used was a fantastic 16th century pub and was approximately half a mile from the site serving great food. Thanks for a great weekend.

We found this site on line and have really enjoyed our stay here. The review by Lunar720 is absolutely spot on. Cracking facilities and super pitches to boot. Don't understand where DaveG3 is coming from but looking at other reviews of his makes me believe he must be one of life's whingers. Nothing good enough for him. This is a comfortable and friendly site whose owners are always available to assist. Trust me, visit here. You won't regret it.

On first discovering this site, it would appear to be in the rural idyll of rustic Lincolnshire. However be warned, it isn't.
This site is surrounded by wind turbines, Europe's largest gas terminal (which has regular fire alarms and huge light pollution) and a 'B' road which has endless traffic, even well into the night.
There is one pub within about three miles which is full of loud, swearing, redneck locals. The dreadful quality of the ale does nothing to ease the pain of these ghastly folk.
The scenery is of the poorest quality (no wonder Tennyson took to the Lakes and the Isle of Wight) and the noise from the nearby, tropical bird farm, cockerel, roads etc destroys any hope of a peaceful stay. I can not recommend staying here at all.

This is a absolute 10/10 CL that we came across when looking for a 1 nigh in the Mablethorpe area.
C&CC listed CL, which opened just over 12 months ago.
Each pitch is concrete based with a further slabbed base next to it for awning. Pitches well spaced out with newly planted shrubs clearly marking out pitches.
Each pitch has own water, ehu and waste drain. There are 2 toilets / showers. Small units for each which are fully equipped for disabled. Both of these were immaculate and very well heated. Plenty of hot water too. Outside was a washing up sink and CD point.
There is a small lake / pond on the site and also a pitch and putt. The site is in a small village with a pub just along the road.
The site was clean, tidy, grass well cut, owners friendly and helpful. Everything as it should be on a site that shows its well cared for. At £12 with ehu well worth staying. Would recommend this site for a night or a week - a real little gem.
