One of our favourite sites. Always a lovely welcome and the site is beautifully maintained. The shower block is always very clean and looked after and the showers are always hot. The site itself is beautifully kept with well cut grassed area and flower beds around the outside of the hook up area. In the main section there are individual water supplies for each pitch as well as metered electric hook up. There is also an area for tents which we have also enjoyed staying on.
The site is really well positioned with a bus stop at the end of the road. You can get a bus directly into Southport or into the market town of Ormskirk. Tesco's supermarket is nearby as is the Kew park and ride ( into Southport).
All in all cannot be faulted and it isn't expensive at £13 for two of us plus a little extra for the metered hook up.
We'll be back.

This was our third visit of the year and yet again we were not left disappointed. The campsite itself is spotless and very well maintained and the shower and toilet facilities are immaculate. There field itself is well looked after and in a nice peaceful setting. Electric hook up is available and runs off pound coins. We put a pound in and it lasted 3 nights and found this extremely good value. There is a large tesco about 5 minutes away in the car and a large retail park opposite. Southport promenade is about 3 miles away and century house is a good base for all local attractions.
The owners of the campsite are very welcoming and go above and beyond to provide an excellent service and this is reflected in the overall atmosphere and friendly vibe at Century House. Highly recommended and at 12 pound a night excellent value for money!
We Will definitely be returning at the beginning of next season. Thanks for a pleasurable, relaxing stay!

After carefully looking around the area we selected this site and couldn't have been happier with it. We were looking for somewhere to host a family celebration of our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We booked five vans on the small field and proceeded to decorate with many flags and lights. We couldn't have asked for more friendly and helpful site owners. The site is well mentioned, clean and looks lovely. It is well situated not far from local shops and a direct rout to Southport and our home in Liverpool. The toilet facilities are clean and well looked after. Even though the weather turned we all had a fab week(well 6 days) There was no pressure to leave early on the Sunday and we will definitely be coming back, as will all our family who stayed. Thank you for making our stay so special.

Just returned from a great weekend at this site.
We had a family celebration, so 5 family vans went together, everyone thought the site & location was ideal.
The site is split into two fields a smaller 5 van field then a much larger tent camping / caravan field.
Round the side of the large field are the hen coupes which the kids loved to visit.
There are limited amount of electric hook ups Aprox. 9 over both fields, so if you require electric which is metered book & request in advance.
All grass pitches, well kept, Level & mowed on firm ground.
The owners could not of been more polite or helpful on arrival. Pointing out where all the facilities where etc.
Any further questions or queries where again all answered, nothing seemed to much trouble for them.
(I so wish other sites had staff & owners like this)
There are two unisex toilets / shower rooms, both are kept spotlessly clean and one is fully fitted out with disabled access equipment. Shower £1 for 6 mins which is plenty.
Fresh duck & hens eggs on sale. Just put your money in an honesty box & pick the number paid for.
Within 1 mile of the site is a very large Tesco's and shopping retail park, and just two and a half to three miles to the main centre of Southport.
Site is in a rural setting so nice & quiet but near enough to easily drive or commute to all near attractions.
Would definitely recommend, & will visit again.
Special thanks goes to the owners for running a little gem of a site.

Very pleasant little site. Clean showers and toilets. Its quite rural so need a car to go anywhere. There wasn't much of a dog walking area and all the fields around seemed to say No Dogs Allowed. The lady owner welcomed us and was very nice. Showers are a pound for 6 minutes and electric is a pound, though we did put £3 in from Friday to Sunday which we thought was a lot. All in all a nice quiet little site

A really lovely site. Greeted with big smiles and helpful information and gorgeous fresh eggs for sale.
The toilets were immaculate. I liked the trouble taken to disguise the electricity points as little huts. The electricity is a pound but we were fortunate enough to have a point with lots left on so check before you load it up!
A short drive into southport. Go over the new bridge and the retail park on the right has free parking for up to 2 hours.
Will definitely return to this quiet and well run site.

3rd time visiting this picturesque site - we love it here as you can spread out - we usually go in two groups ranging from 6 to 13 people and can always pitch together - we pitched an 8 man vango tigris and another 6 man tent with a gazebo between and always have loads of space. Field is always spotless as are the shower/toilets - there is a small hut with drinking water and sink for washing up.
Owner is such a friendly lady (originally from texas) she always greets you with a smile and is so helpful.
Eggs are there every morning to purchase - freshly laid on the farm - site is quiet and peaceful - We will stay here again.
Tesco is 5mins away and southport town centre is 10mins at the most.
Electric hooks ups are plenty - at £1 (last all weekend) Showers £1 fr 6mins - hot and powerful.
Site fee's as of our stay were £12. 50 per night per tent (bargain)

Just had a great couple of days, greeted by a very pleasant lady who didn't hit me with a load of rules and regs and no sucking of air when I turned up with my wife plus 2 dogs and a 34ft RV just a simple 'park where you like in the top field'. The toilets and showers were good and not shut for long periods for cleaning. It is a five minute walk to the bus stop into Southport or £7 in a taxi. The site is in a semi rural location but I did not find it that good for dog waking with notices in local fields saying no dogs allowed. I will stay here again I really liked it.

A lovely, small and quiet campsite. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our three nights stay despite some dodgy weather.
The showers and toilets are very clean and well equipped, my only negative and very minor point is that, unless you have an electric hook-up, there is no access to an electric point for a hairdryer.
Southport is an easy five minute drive and, if you are using the local train service to Liverpool, better to drive to Birkdale Station which has free parking.
Would recommend this site and we will definitely camp there again.

First time on a club site and really enjoyed it. Love the peacefulness of it and the friendliness of it too.
The owners are very warm and welcoming.
Its very easy to find and very local to southport and food outlets,
Toilets and showers are very clean. Grass areas are well maintained for pitching.
You have to get coins from the owners for a shower. I did think £1 was a lot especially if all the family wanted to use them every day. But it stopped water wastage, an 6 mins 2 people could use at same time (not that my teenage son wanted too)
There still isnt dish washing facility. The BBQ area that was mentioned was a little over grown but again with the wet summer we have had its understandable.
I would go again
