Excellent campsite. Opened recently. Excellent location. No excessively uphill/downhill gradients to negotiate if coming from the south (skipton side). I went from Bradford.
3 toilets and 2 showers. Always clean, hot showers. 2 separate units for dish washing each having 2 sinks. 1 Big freezer and 2 small fridges.
Although they were fully booked for the bank holiday weekend I thought there was enough space around, it didn't feel mega busy.
Cannot fault anything, but it was my first ever camping trip with my son, so I cannot compare it with anything else. But I would surely go there again in july for a weekend and then in Aug during school holidays.
You are in the heart of the dales. Lots of walks and scenery around. The village pub looked like it was closed. I took my own drinks, but whenever went past the pub it looked like it was closed.
There is no swings etc or separate play area for kids.
The lady owner was very welcoming. 5 star.

This is a really lovely site in a fabulous location. The owners were really friendly (introduced us to newborn lambs) and really helpful (towed us with their tractor when we got stuck and let our four year old have a quick ride). We saw the newly arrived glamping pods behind the farm - these look great. Buckden itself seems to be a starting point for lots of walks and the cycle ride to Kettlewell (4 miles) looks pretty flat. We walked 2 miles of the Dalesway (to Starbotton) where there's a pub which serves food. There's a tea shop, shop and small restaurant in Buckden. The public toilets are nearer the site than the toilet block in the farm yard and they seem pretty well maintained and are open 24 hours. The toilets in the yard area seem good, we didn't use the shower but it looked clean. The hookups functioned well and the chemical waste area is kind of novel (you'll see when you go there). The site is so quiet at night you just hear sheep and a gurgling brook.

We had a brilliant time at Heber Farm. The owners are really lovely, can't do enough for you. The site is wonderful, our sort of place, nothing but a field (or three to choose from). The shower and toilets are a little walk away in the farm yard (you have to cross the road in the village to do this) which might not work for some but was great for us.
Really quiet with only one other camper there the whole time (and not in the same field as us).
Our daughter just ran around the three fields during our stay and had a fantastic time. Might not suit children who expect 'entertainment' and/or 'facilities'.
The food at the Buck Inn in the village is good these days, you can walk to the George at Hubberholme for food - nice place but the new landlady was not very welcoming so we didn't return.
Amazing place.

Enjoyed our one night stay in this quiet, lovely location and found the owner to be friendly and helpful. No problem with any of the facilities. Pub and small shop very close to the site.
The site looked full when we arrived but we still managed to find a quiet spot. Next to the site there are picnic benches and barbecue facilities (National Trust I think) which we were allowed to use. We found everything to be clean and pleasant.

Stayed at this lovely site for 8 nights for the Jubilee week, mostly in wet weather. 3 fields to pick from when pitching and although they are all sloping there are some level areas to be found. Toilet disposal and fresh water on the bottom field, one toilet and shower down at the farm (approx. 100m / 2 minutes walk away).
No hook up. We stayed longer than intended as it was a good base for what we had planned, our 4 year old twins also had a lovely time running round in the fields and walking along the stream to the waterfall nearby.
The pub in the village recently re-opened, no idea if the food is any good as the kitchen was temporarily closed when we visited. The campsite owners were very friendly and lovely people making the stay a pleasure.
Hope to be back when the weather is somewhat nicer than when we visited!

We arrived at the campsite Friday afternoon. After a week of rain the ground was really soft and we managed to get our campervan stuck, but the friendly farmer was soon there to re-position us with a tow from his tractor. The site was lovely and quiet with 1 tent and 2 other campervans. There is a choice of 3 fields to park in. There is bins for rubbish and toilet block nearby. Excellent location for walkers. Excellent site for people travelling with young children. We will definitely be visiting again.
