A very pleasant welcome from the owners and being enthusiastically shown to the small but super little camping area and electric hook-up for our camper van was our first introduction to this site.
There is only one very clean loo and no shower facility but as long as you are OK with this then we highly recommend this peaceful place.
Ideally situated for the New Forest and surrounding area this is good for exploring and any children you have will be in their element if they like animals – Horses, Pigs and Chickens are all here and the owners are very happy to involve the children in helping with the animal feeding and they don’t need much excuse to saddle up one of the horses and give the children horse rides in the paddock.
A camp fire in a small wooded area completes the scene for an enjoyable stay.
Don’t forget to ask about the sausages, ham and eggs for sale – Delicious!

Just back from a wonderful stay at Stone Family Farm. The children were in heaven, trees to climb, the owners actively encouraged them to help feed the animals and clearly love having youngsters around (they even gave our children a pony ride there were 6 kids in total!)
We had 3 tents in the copse clearing and it was just right for a group of families to camp together. The whole place has a very relaxed atmosphere.
We were kept warm at night by a camp fire and the hosts make this site a very special little place. There are only a few pitches so the children really can be free range!
We were not bothered by the lack of hot water and showers and the toilet was clean and well kept. Excellent links to Dorset and the New Forest and a big country park in walking distance of the camp site

This is a lovely little smallholding and the owners are friendly and cannot do enough for you. We enjoyed meeting the farm dog, the chicks, goslings, pigs and Dales horses. Our son actually helped to feed the pigs.
The camping area has electric hook up and is a well mowed and drained area of lawn. There is also a little copse with a permanent fire pit for guests to use.
We had glorious sunshine and great hosts - what more could you ask for?
My husband who is not normally a keen camper loved the tranquillity and we will definitely return.

We visited the site for the first time during the August 2011 bank holiday weekend and have just visited again for the long May bank holiday weekend.
Overall the camping experience here is 10 out of 10! we have young girls who absolutely loved being here both times, 'Farmer Stone' & Sue cannot do enough to ensure that the kids are entertained and to be honest deserve a medal for how good they are allowing the kids to help them out with mini farm tasks & feeding the animals which the kids love!
The campfire available is a massive plus for huddling round on a night time.
The camping area is not too big but at the same time no too small, the toilet block is basic but very clean, if you are looking for a massive site with pub, restaurant, entertainment etc then this isnt the site for you, but if you are looking for a nice friendly cosy campsite with owners who simply cant do enough for you then this is the place.
Its not a matter of if we'll be back its when!

We were looking for somewhere friendly, low key, where the kids could go off and play and Kevin and Sue provided this in spades. The facilities were basic but extremely clean and well maintained and the camping area was perfect. Kevin took the kids off to see the horses and feed the pigs and they had the run of the open spaces. Kevin could not have been more welcoming and friendly, providing wood for our much needed campfire, fantastic sausages and eggs for breakfast and was generally helpful and available if we needed something.
The campsite is well placed with both forest and coastline within easy driving distance (summer traffic could be an issue though).
We had a very enjoyable week here - we have never met such a warm and welcoming campsite owner - and are already planning our next visit.
