 We stayed here as it was reasonably close to Alnwick Castle and Cragside. Campsite very basic but quiet, clean, good views, helpful owner.
No shower but toilet always spotless. Two other vans there on our first night but they went in the morning and we had the place to ourselves for the next two days.
A field full of sheep to look at - what more do you want! Would definitely return.

Lovely small site and very cheap. Our kids loved watching all the action on the farm - horses, dogs, polo etc and there were some amazing sunsets viewed across the fields.
Toilet was clean and in perfect condition.
Worth visiting as it is so peaceful and relaxing here even in the summer holidays.

Small quiet five van site to the rear of a working farm. Site owner very helpful but not intrusive. Site slight sloping both hard stands and grass.
Sea view in the distance and under 2 miles to nearest beach. Site has one toilet which was cleaned daily including fresh towels, entrance mat, toilet rolls. Second half of toilet hut is full of local information including places of interest and days out.
Would visit again for a restful, peaceful break or safe site for small children. Alnwick, Amble, Seahouses all within 30 minutes drive, easy reach. When leaving pitch watch out for barn overhang guttering.

I stayed here for 2 nights and this site is ideal for me.
It is next to a 'B' classified road but you hear very little traffic. RAF Boulmer is close by and helicopters pass overhead from time to time during the day. To me that's a bonus.
The main east coast rail line is nearby but the noise from rail traffic is minimal.
The nearest pub has recently closed so you have to travel farther afield to Lesbury (2. 5 miles)
The site is level with a single toilet on the site (no showers) There are four or five electric hook ups, two on grass pitches.
The delightful market town of Alnwick is about 6 miles away where there are supermarkets, restaurants, hotels and pubs etc.

A nice very quiet site on a farm, situated about 4 miles from Alnwick centre.
A small supermarket within about a mile.
The owners were very friendly and helpful.
The only downside is the single toilet/wash facilities as advertised. If this doesn't bother you, then this is an ideal little get-away or place to stop over. 9/10 for what is advertised.
An ideal place to explore Northumberland with easy access to the borders.

I was pointed in the direction of Longbank Farm by another site that was full on the date I wished to stay. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very helpful. The site was very quiet and had toilet and wash basin facilities, no showers, but I was only staying for one night. There was an information point and a place for rubbish too. It was like camping in a friendly neighbour's garden! The lovely horses in the next field provided friendly company and the location was close to Longhoughton that has a Spar shop for groceries. I would definitely stay again although without a shower, my stay would be limited.
