Stayed here in a touring caravan and met up with friends with a similar unit. We both had electric hook ups and good size pitches. Made very welcome by the friendly warden who explained the camp facilities and surrounding attractions and services. Chinese, Indian and Pizza can be delivered if you want to totally relax! menus and phone numbers are in the very nice welcome pack. You can see Kidwelly castle from the site and this is a terrific place to visit. Also the surrounding vista is verdant and beautiful. Toilets and showers are excellent and are in two locations. Washing up point and disposal of waste and water all very clean and well maintained. The welcome pack also includes details of local walks and bicycle pathways. Easy access to the site with no problems. We came from the M4. Follow the directions given by the site as the satnav can take you through some B roads. Will return again soon and happily recommend this site.

We thought we'd give Waungadog Farm, or Wonderdog Farm as our 3 year old calls it, a go after reading previous reviews. We weren't disappointed one little bit. The site owners were more than friendly and welcoming. The rates are reasonable for what the site is, no clubhouse, pool, crazy golf, wifi, noise and all of that malarkey. The toilets and showers were possibly the nicest, cleanest and most private that I've ever used on a British campsite. Drainage from the camping field is brilliant. Even after 48 hours of torrential rain the field wasn't muddy or boggy at all. The pitches are spacious and well defined. The grass is nice and short. The views are spectacular and the local amenities are more than adequate, with a Co-op, Spar shop, takeaways, pubs, and the nicest cup of coffee and a Welsh cake 5 minutes away. Larger supermarkets are 15 minutes down the road. Nearby beaches are amazing and dog friendly too.
The downsides? Two showers for men, three for women and three toilets each is a bit rubbish for a busy site, and a 300 yard walk to the shower block is a PITA, especially in the dark. Also, when the wind blows, which it does a lot, the camping field is totally exposed to the elements. It could really do with some hedges planting. Apart from that though? We love the place.
All in all, a lovely friendly, peaceful getaway. Definitely going back next year.

We were made very welcomed on this excellently maintained campsite with superbly furnished and cleaned toilet and shower block. This is an ideal place for cyclists and as a base to travel around. The surrounding views are very attractive. The nearby supermarket is well provisioned. The area has a friendly environment and has some nice cafes and shops.

Excellent site. Well maintained, flat field. Friendly owners. Showers and toilets modern and very clean. Electric hook up available. Very reasonably priced at £17. 50 per night including electric. Great views of the surrounding countryside, Kidwelly Castle well worth a visit. Wouldnt hesitate to visit again in the near future.

My wife and I just returned from a week stay at Waungadog Farm and had a fantastic holiday there.
First off the Hosts were very welcoming and would go out of their way to help you.
The facilities were 1st class, spotless and well maintained.
The ground was flat and perfect for our large tent, they offer electric hook up and whilst not used this time would definitely use next time.
Good base area and for people who don't drive there is easy access into town centre to use public transport.
Will be looking forward to going back and would recommend anyone looking to having a peaceful break and a great holiday to go to Waungadog Farm.
Thanks to everyone at Waungadog farm for a wonderful week and a brilliant Holiday.

Don't think I've been to a more friendly site, the owners can't do enough for you and are rightly proud of their site and how they have developed it.
The showers are a short walk and were spotless with plenty of hot water. They were a little cold but it was early March! Not sure how busy they would get if the site was full as only 1 of each ladies and gents shower but this is more than you usually get in a CL site anyway!
It is an ideal base to explore South Wales from where there are pretty villages and unspoilt beaches to visit. Beaches in The Gower are breathtaking and is an absolute must. It's a short walk into Kidwelly itself which has a stunning castle to visit.
Overall would recommend the area and site to anyone wanting a relaxed few days away.

What a lovely place and brilliant owners, couldn't do enough for us, soooo helpful. This being our 2nd outing in our new motorhome, he was a very helpful. We arrived late and didn't have a clue, but he soon sorted us. Will definitely be coming back, farm was in a lovely rural area, fantastic base, Kidwelly and Ferryside were abs gorgeous, and just down the road was a farm shop full of local produce, Welsh trinkets and a lovely cafe, with really friendly Welsh welcome. Would def recommend this caravan site, and hope to see you again soon. Thank you very much. Diolch yn fawr iawn, methu aros I ddod nol. Meryl a Baz. Xxx

Ian and his brother welcome us like a long lost family member.
Told us where the best place was to walk the dog
The shower blocks were exceptionally clean
We would definitely going back there as we did not do Kidwelly justice perhaps next time we will try the local pubs out and surrounding areas. Well worth a visit especially if you want a peaceful and calm setting just to chill out in. Recommend it to anyone.
Many thanks for a very peaceful camp site.

We stayed for a weekend whilst visiting family nearby. We found the campsite to be lovely and clean pitches are well kept and nice and flat. Good ground for tent pegs etc.
Toliets were a short walk from the camp field, and were spotless the best camping toilets and showers I have seen at a camp site!
Owners made you feel welcome and at home. We will be back!

Waungadog Farm is a very nice campsite, perfectly clean and well equipped - especially toilet and showers were in great condition. We spent both on the way to our holidays in Wales and on the way back one night here because of the extremely friendly and helpful management!
Thank you very much for everything!
