We stopped here for one night and found that the welcome was warm and friendly. We were shown the site facilities that were clean and in good order.
This site is in a nice location with a tesco just down the road, the only let down was the fact you had to pay for a shower and this let the site down when it came to value for money, but on an up side there was free Wifi if needed.
We would stay again as an over night base.

We picked this site because they accepted the Daily Mirror 95p a night vouchers. We stayed for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The site is well located for Poole and Bournemouth and other towns such as Wimborne Minster.
The facilities are basic but serviceable, you have to pay 20p for a shower but we used the free one in our van. The site is very quiet and away from it all. We can't comment on value for money as it cost us £14 for 6 nights!
My biggest memory of the site is the constant bird song which includes a Tawny Owl at night. One of our past times is geocaching and it's quite well located for that as well.
You can cycle and walk from site, there are quiet lanes, bridleways and footpaths close by. We would certainly go back to the site although I am not sure I would want to pay the £15 a night standard charge.

We recently visited Huntick Farm Caravan site for a long week end. The site is set in beautiful countryside but the facilities are inadequate for the number of pitches. There were only two female showers and three toilets and the same for men. So as you can imagine there were inevitable queues for the facilities. We felt that the site charges were expensive especially as you then had to pay 20p for a shower! It could be a really nice site with some investment.

Peace & quiet, bird song, clean, tidy site with spotless toilet block & washup area. A very warm & friendly welcome from both the owners & managers, nothing is to much trouble for the team, if you have a problem they are always on hand to help, they always have time to have a chat. The pitches are well spaced so there is plenty of room.

Beautiful peaceful site! We made a last minute booking for the Bank Holiday and were lucky due to a cancellation. Plenty of space for tent, car and our son's 'basha'.
Good clean toilet and shower facilities.
Separate dog exercise area well away from campers. Children's games field. Friendly helpful owners. Saw deer in the nearby field early evening and a huge owl. Great location for Poole, Bournemouth (free on street parking up by Alum Chine)and the Isle of Purbeck. Very reasonable rates.

Being in a tent we stood out like a sore thumb but there was no caravan snobbery on this quiet relaxed & very tidy site. Everyone was friendly & the owners were always available.
I dont understand the 'electric shock' comment below as Pat used the spin dryer ,which is free & a nice touch, & there was no problem.
As stated there is a village 1 mile up the road with a Tesco express with a cash machine, 2 pubs that have turned around, the Rose & crown is now the 'nice' pub which does excellent food, the Chequer is a bit on the dodgy side.
You are within 30 minutes drive of all the sightseeing & places to visit you could wish for.
The showers are 20p but are plenty long enough & have an excellent dry area for getting changed.
There is free hot water in sinks & for washing up.
Fresh water is from a stand pipe in the centre of the site but isn't far from anyone.
There is a chemical waste disposal point next to the toilet/shower block.
The pitch we had was well sheltered on 3 sides by established trees & kept all the onshore wind off the tent, the top of the site next to the entrance was a bit more exposed.
The actual field we were in had a very gentle slope down to one corner but not enough to be a problem & all the caravans were set up level.
There are a lot of long term vanners on this site so they must be doing something right to keep them there, I have to say though, they were a good crowd & friendly .
I don't know what the rules are but this site also has a rally field attached but I didnt have a look at it.
Although the access lane is narrow, it isn't very long so getting in & out isn't a problem.
I only had one small gripe, after setting up we were told we would have to pay for an awning as we had the Outwell porch fitted to the Hartford M, now this isn't the biggest tent in the world & as half of the porch is over the front of the tent (this is how its attached) it only gave us 4 foot of extra space but there were caravans with full awnings which doubled there foot print paying the same.
Anyway that is a minor gripe & I hope I don't turn up again to find I'm barred because I would definitely return to this site & if I have to, pay the extra ;-) .

After arriving at Huntick quite by accident due to being too large for the site we where booked in for we where highly surprised to find that our 33ft RV was not a problem for the site.
A smile and warm welcome awaited us on arrival even though they where busy. Phil and Wendy the owners could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Phil even mowed the grass before we parked up nothing was too much trouble. With clean toilet / shower blocks (A must for all campers) the site is peaceful and quiet with a relaxing feel about it.
A perfect base to explore the surrounding attractions. With a handy supermarket for provisions (Tesco express) approximately a mile of the site and open 6am to 11pm x 7 days. The local inn is the Bakers Arms and offers a good menu and a friendly atmosphere and is also approximately a mile from the site.
We will be visiting again next month and look forward to it, This is a lovely quiet, clean site .

Huntick is a small but lovely site, unspoiled with a really nice peaceful atmosphere. Ideal for going to the beach, or in to Poole. It has a small wooden shed as reception and a phone box. A field is avaliable for walking the dogs. It's well kept and the toilets are clean, the laundry room is ok, but beware the push button on the clothes dryer machine, my husband got an electric shock from it!
Overall we love this site

Despite the weather being absolutely appalling we enjoyed our 5 days spent there! The wardens were very friendly and despite the weather the toilets were always clean. The showers take 20p but plenty of water. There isn't a playpark but there are two swings and sand which my daughter enjoyed. The dog walk is quite nice and it was also one of the largest i have experienced. We didn't try the local pubs so can't comment on them. All in all a reasonable site which we plan to go back to at some point.

Lovely site, large pitches, friendly staff, clean facilities. Village not too far away with a Tesco Extra(well stocked) Hairdressers, Pharmacy two pubs ,the nearest to the site seems to have a bad press. We went to the top of the village, excellent lunches,OAP roasts on Tuesday!Nice pub very friendly staff, even made custard for my husband`s apple pie ,cream and icecream were on the menu. Would definitely return in the near future
