We only spent one night in the tipi, but it was really magical! Granted, it was freezing outside, but we took plenty of sleeping bags and blankets and were very comfortable.
It was lovely to sit around the campfire and gaze at the clear, un-light-polluted, sky.
We arrived at the campsite at 6pm, by which time it was pretty dark but, Richard, the owner, had already lit the campfire for us and helped us to take our bags etc to the tipi (done by wheelbarrow - brilliant idea!).
There were three portaloos and two showers on site. We didn't use the showers, but both showers and loos were immaculately clean.
The only downside was the lack of electric. We knew this beforehand and so it wasn't a 'biggie' but it would have been nice to have been able to plug in a heater or the phone charger.
At £45, it was cheaper, and far more fun, for our family of five (kids aged 8, 6 and 3) to stay in a travel lodge.
We would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone who fancies something a bit different :-D

Just spent 3 nights at Twiteys tipis campsite. We had an excellent time in one of their fantastic tipis.
You need to be a hardened camper because you are quite away from the nearest village by foot, so driving is required. Stratford upon Avon is 4 miles away.
Its a new site so quite basic, portaloos and no showers but I think that may change in the future. The owners are lovely and open campfires are encouraged. You really are in the middle of nowhere but an half hour walk gets you to the nearest pub.
The tipi was excellent and it had everything you needed. It was a real different experience. We came back so relaxed. Definitely going back.
