Just spent a wonderful 4 nights at The Turbles. This is a most excellent 'find' and the only disappointment for us is that the site is only 11. 1/2 miles from home! Having said that, we will definitely be back because it is an excellent site and location.
The facilities are excellent, by far the best we have seen on a CL. Plenty of hot water and a very roomy shower. The summerhouse is definitely an added bonus with plenty of games, books and, more importantly, for those travelling from further afield, a good selection of leaflets of local attractions.
There are two local pubs with good food - both recommended by us and if you run short of groceries, etc. , there is a village shop at close by. Free range eggs can be bought on site.
The area is excellent for walking - the Malvern Hills are a 'must' for walkers.
The owners are very friendly and definitely make you feel welcome and 'at home'.

Location is perfect. In the Malvern hills with very good walking in the immediate area. There is a real ale pub within 5 minutes walk which is very welcoming and dogs are no problem.
The site itself has everything you could need. Toilet/shower block good. Nice field (although muddy when we were there but it had been raining for weeks !) with excellent views and a very handy area for 'walking' the dog.
Owners very welcoming and eggs were available from rescued battery hens kept on site. The Summer House is useful for DVD's and books and TV handy if you can't pick up a signal (this didn't worry us too much as it was quite nice to just switch off from the world for a few days). There was a shop in nearby village but we didn't venture in.
We will definitely be returning some time during the year.

Had a fantastic rest and peaceful surroundings. Hope to go back at Christmas with family if free. Always checked you were OK and always there if needed. Some of the week we were on our own, which was very strange. The field is large and we had a tap at the back of the pitch, which was very handy. The field did get a little wet at times but there was a lot of rain.
Thank you so much
Alan & Matt

In some ways I don't really want to write this review because this is such a great site I want to keep it to myself but the couple who run this are so nice I just have to recommend it to you for them! It's a lovely quite site on a flat field with big pitches so you get the feeling of truly being away from it all.
We have a dog and this site it perfect for him. There is a massive empty field the other side of the fence that you can use to exercise your dog; it's ideal. There is a spotlessly clean big shower portacabin and a couple of toilets separately which are great. The field is well maintained and there are benches dotted around for you to use too.
There is a big summer house with comfy furniture, books, jigsaws etc that you can use if you fancy a change from the caravan. The scenery is great, there are plenty of lovely walks to do as you'd expect in Malvern but it's such a lovely location we are happy just to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
We have been back time and time again and just love it here so if you fancy a warm welcome, fantastic location and break from the hustle and bustle look no further!
