We visited 29th Oct til 3rd November ! What a GREAT place, 10 min walk into the harbour. Site excellent albeit we visited after weeks of pouring rain, site very bogey but hey we are campers so parked next to the track so we could get off easy enough. Toilets on site and dish washing facilities but we never used them as we use our van. Elsan spotless and plenty of bins for rubbish. Excellent views of the coast.
Would point out if you think its going to windy stay at the bottom entrance, we pitched at the top, We thought van was going to rock over if its possible but it was our choice to get the best sea views possible.
Think the hook up points must be low amps as only us plugged in and fire on 500w would trip during the night! Strange as never did it during the day.
No pressure from the warden to pay and we stayed extra nights as we enjoyed the surrounding area. LLANGRANGOG Worth a visit defo beach day.
Trust us to find out on last night got a taxi from the harbour back to site as the hill is very steep cost a mear £2. 86 well worth a fiver after a few beers in the many pubs the town as too offer. Pub at the end of the site Penhwllan Inn looks like it may be going up for sale, Seahorse, New Quay football club, Dolau Inn all in New Quay all Dog friendly pubs.
All this said we will definitely return one day !

This was the 2nd year that we have stayed at this site.
The site is a fairly level field and part of a working farm. All of the pitches are on grass. The field has a lot of seasonal pitches and some of the caravans look like they have been abandoned and have become tatty. To be fair to the owners they were in the process of clearing some of the caravans.
The facilities are very basic and the showers can be a long walk away on the neighbouring static caravan park owned by the same farm. There is plenty of room on the field for kids to ride their bikes and play games.
The main reason that we stay on this site is the location. You are about a 10 minutes walk away from the town centre and the amazing beach. (New Quay is a lovely harbour town and perfect for a family holiday). The site is also only 5 minutes away from the coastal path which is stunning with some excellent walks.
If you are going here with kids, the local Haven site sell day passes for £5 per person which is a good way to spend any wet days that you may have. They have an indoor pool and a nice bar restaurant area as well as all of the arcades that you would expect at Haven.
Overall, although the site is basic, they only charge £15 oer night with electric and the location is the best in New Quay.
