Excellent campsite for both campervans, caravans and tents.
I turned up on day and managed to secure pitch but advisable to book.
Nice flat grassy area for camping and an excellent and clean toilet block with good hot shower.

Clean site excellent toilet facilities and Shower.
Brilliant area for walking the dog. Hill walking right on the door step.
Community shop lady was very welcoming and friendly.
Border hotel pub a short walk away lovely pint. Also they serve food.
The people we met as we walked around the area were very friendly and had time to stop for conversation.
Will be back for a longer stay.

Have been to Kirkfield 4 times now and it always is a pleasant stay
We enjoy walking and there is an abundance of rural walks. The town is an old market town and has a lovely friendly pub for excellent food and they do takeaways.
Also has a small store. The site is well looked after and everything is marked out with maps with your pitch on. Staff are there if you required, but they leave everyone to enjoy their stay
Not much around for children so most staying are young walkers ( Cuthbert's way/ Pennine way/ or mature/ retired. This give for a very quiet site with stunning scenery to be enjoyed.

Peaceful site with lovely local dog walks within 1/4 mile.
Bit tight for space and the pitch I was on needed a lot of levelling wedges.
Clean facilities though. Although no grey water disposal point.
Lovely area but not sure I will return as I was positioned right by the access road and there was a lot of traffic and footfall as you can't exercise your dogs on the campsite.

Excellent site, slightly sloping in places but manageable with ramps. Facilities are spotless and the owners are very pleasant.
However the campsite is in Kirk Yetholm 7 miles south of Kelso.
There is only one shop, post office in the village and a garage where the diesel was 3p cheaper.
If you want to stock up there is a large Sainsburys on the edge of Kelso.
If you are cycling be prepared for very hilly roads and low gears are necessary.

Really lovely, peaceful site. Immaculately clean. Lots of hot water for dishwashing. Only one shower in female loo though (there are 28 pitches).
Well situated for dog walks.
We had a perfect short stay and hope to return for longer soon.

Quiet site, with relaxed atmosphere in stunning surroundings. Facilities well maintained & v clean.
Our enquiry was dealt with very promptly and we had good info prior to arrival, v helpful as Covid restrictions meant site office was unmanned.
Very convenient for both Yetholm villages, with more wonderful walks through the hills & by the river.
We'll be back for a longer stay very soon

Well maintained site. Plenty of taps for water. Recycling bins.
Haven't used the shower block but my husband say's it's very clean.
Very dog friendly, plenty of lovely walks just off site.
Beautiful views.
This is our second visit liked it so much when we came 5yrs ago. Would recommend.
