This is most definitely one of those hidden little gems that you want to tell everybody about,
Booked 8 caravans on for a friends daughters birthday and the site owner was very welcoming, helpful and laid back. Beautiful setting with a lovely fishing lake on site.
We were given a fire pit with logs to burn and sat out each evening as a group.
The site is immaculate and the showers are hot powerful and clean too.
We stayed on the large field and there was plenty of room for the children to play together. Electric hook ups available. The sun was shining and we had a fantastic weekend. , at £10 per night it was a real bargain too!
Cleethorpes was around20 minutes away in the car and it has a lovely little sea front, usual arcades etc but the free sand pit at the top end is great for little ones, there's a boating lake and ride on train too!
I would definitely recommend this site and can't wait to go back again!

I honestly think that the owner gets more pleasure from running this site than making a profit! The site is enormous and looks stunning. There are clean toilets and showers near the entrance to the site which then leads onto an area of hardstanding before coming to a huge field. Everything is well maintained. The village of Laceby is about a thirty minute walk and from there buses run into both Grimsby and Cleethorpes. Both towns that are worth visiting. We paid £10 per night plus metered electric for the privilege of stopping on this site. The owner did indicate that he now had planning permission to improve the site so this is now a site we will be definitely revisiting.

This site is very close to where we live but perfect for what we need when we want to get away from it all for a few nights. The campsite has lovely owners, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The site has one male and one female shower but we have never had to wait for a shower and they are always hot.
It has a large fishing lake if you are a keen fishing person and it is perfectly located for the attractions of cleethorpes, at half the price of cleethorpes campsites. Morrissons is a five minute drive away and there is pub 10 mins drive that serves lovely food. We will continue returning to this site for as long as we can manage to put the tent up!

We found this campsite by chance on the UKCampsite.co.uk, We were going for the weekend for the air show,
The campsite is flat and sheltered by the trees around, It has a fishing lake with plenty of fish and geese, The wardens are lovely people nothing to much trouble.
Showers and toilets were clean at all times,
Plenty of hot water,
The campsite is approx 7 miles from Cleethorpes.
Morrisons near by,
Will definitely be returning,

We did a bit of a tour of England this summer, set off from Cumbria down to Suffolk to see family, then up to The Willows, Laceby to see an old friend of mine for 2 days, we then went back to Cumbria, and down to York.
We found the site fantastic! brilliant facilities, and having 3 dogs it was great to have an area behind the fishing lake to run them and play ball.
The facilities were fantastic! lovely warm showers and very very clean!
The site managers were really friendly and came over to look at our old Caravan (42yrs old) and our Series III Landrover (32 years old).
I will definitely return here next time I go to see my old friend Ava.
Highly recommended site!
