The campsite is ideally suited for trips into St Andrews and has wonderful views over the sea and Forth.
The site is quite well appointed, the shower and toilet block are adequate although dated.
The showers were unexpectedly good. Their is now a little shop and coffee/cafe on site both ok.
We enjoyed our stay and the site manager Bob does a good job of looking after everyone.

Bankhhead Farm is a quiet, relaxed spot and pitches are well spaced out.
The owner is very helpful and friendly.
We walked to the Fife coastal Path, Crail one direction and all the way to Elie in the other. Access to the path is a bit uneven, so maybe not for anyone with mobility issues.
There is a bus which stops outside the campsite when requested and goes to St Andrews one way or via the coastal route to Leven the other way.
We used our own facilities which was not a problem, so cannot comment on those, which were only for campers.
Lovely site, would definitely return.

I don’t really want to leave a review as I don’t want it to be come over busy!
This type of site is my absolute fave style. Originally I asked for hook up but unfortunately these were already taken due to a caravan and camping rally.
As I was wanting to stay for 10 days I did have to plan power banks and Carol let me use the caravan in the yard to charge the power banks which worked remarkably well!
There are no showers so we brought a portable shower and it was fine, plus being in the sea everyday helped. The toilets are basic but absolutely clean and there’s a little washing up place to the side.
As we were here for so long Carol bobbed us down in the bottom corner which was perfect. And the weather was to die for!
I will definitely be returning, hopefully the weather will be great for us again, and also so quiet!
And Carol is fab, checks in with you etc if you see her on the way to the loo.

Absolutely brilliant site. Owners very helpful.
Would recommend this site. Really enjoyed our stay there. Enjoyed walks to beach.
As a nature photographer it is a heaven. Loads of different birds especially along the beach walk. Crail caves are a must. And anstruther is only a couple of miles away.

Lovely place to stay highly recommended
The areas for the tents and caravans was extremely well kept and clean and tidy with loads of choice for where to pitch up for my stay.
Carol was extremely helpful with everything and obviously wants you to feel welcome and have a nice holiday.
Negatives for some may be that there are no showers however I was aware of that when I booked so I would not mark them down for that. The toilet block was pretty much spotless and obviously cleaned regularly.
In summary highly recommended and I will booking and staying here again next year

Could do with showing facilities but I’m just being picky.

Carol is a brilliant host. She gave us a lovely welcome. We had a fantastic time on this great site. It’s quiet yet friendly
There are no showers but we knew that before booking. The toilets are grand and we’ll be back there again before the end of the year.
Thank you for a great laugh and a great break.
