Stayed here for a night, the staff were very pleasant. The site itself is very quiet, ideal if you want to get away from it all after Christmas. It was also very well sign posted, therefore easy to find. The onsite Tavern was great (wonderful curry as well) and well priced. Will visit again soon, but will book as believe it would be busy in the high season. This site is very central making it easy to reach the local villages.

Stayed here for the second time and it just gets better! The location is fantastic, right in the middle of Bodmin moor and just up the road from Jamaica Inn.It was showery when we stayed here but this did not spoil our holiday. The owners were really helpful and friendly. The pub is a big bonus, somewhere warm and cosy to retire to on damp evenings. The best thing about the site is the peace and quiet and the rabbits. We will definitely be back!

Stayed here for four nights at the beginning of August shame about the weather. Because the site is located on the top of Bodmin moor it seemed the fog/cloud never lifted which made the entire experience somewhat damp! Having said that, its still a really nice site with a welcoming pub & restaurant on site so that made up for it ;-)
We were pitched down at the bottom of the field so it was a fair walk to the toilet block, but once you got there they were clean and adequate. Just two showers in the Ladies so there were the inevitable queues at peak times. And sometimes the hot water ran out too! There are 3 loos (plenty for this small site) and two wash cubicles, plus a hair dryer (20p I think) but I don't know how good it is because I didn't use it. The washing up area is well equiped with proper dish draining racks which is a nice touch.
The pub was cozy with a good selection of drinks and the staff were very friendly (always happy to have a chat and a laugh when they weren't busy). We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was very good indeed. We also had breakfast one evening (order it the night before at the bar) which was very nice, but quite expensive.
I would definitely return to this site, though I would ask for a pitch a bit closer to the toilet block! You don't pick your own pitch - they are allocated in the office, but they all seemed to be a good size. My abiding memory though are the bunnies. There are literally hundreds of them!

Nice site - you can hear the A30 at night. Next to a moorland park which was ok but not fantastic. Site was fine but the owners do it all themselves so must be run off their feet as they run the pub and do the accommodation in there! Looking at pub menu - food looked lovely but we didn't have time for a meal. Really atmospheric at night as you are literally in the middle of Bodmin moor. Toilets are fine, I thought the showers were a bit cold but ok really. Would go again.

This is a lovely campsite - tucked away from the main road on Bodmin. Pitch spaces are good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Colliford Tavern itself is a great little pub which also serves food. The best thing about staying here is waking up in the morning and looking out of the tent to be greeted by dozens of rabbits! The toilet and shower blocks are clean and tidy. All in all, a great base for exploring the area.
