July 2003 absolutely brilliant! we had a fantastic time, ok so the pool wasnt the best i have seen, but with the beach only 10 minutes away who needs the pool anyway?! would reccommend to any fit person, not suitable for small children or the disabled, due to long walk down a cliff to the beach. DJ James' disco on a night rocks! and the live singer, karaoke and quiz nights were enjoyable too! we are already trying to book up to return!!

July 2003 A well maintained site. I brought my family here for 10 days and we all found it to be an extremely friendly and nicely maintained site. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Entertainment in the bar every night, with a full length feature film for the children/adults every night on a cinema projection screen. The Indoor heated swimming pool was clean and free use of an on site sauna. Our children were rarely seen, spending the majority of their days in the swimming pool. I have to say the pool was a little over chlorinated resulting in sore eyes but the kids never relented in going in the pool. The shower and toilets where well maintained. There’s a library with books and board games for those not so hot days free for tenants use. Crazy golf on site was just £1 per person. Hiring of equipment also available which is very handy. Showers and toilet facilities cleaned regularly. All in all this was a great 10 days holiday and we will definitely be returning.

July 2002 Mixed opinion, really. On the positive side, site has fantastic location in lee of cliff top with stunning views of Plymouth, especially at night. Excellent beaches at the bottom of steep and winding cliff path. Not too impressed with the fact that due to overhanging trees to both sides, our tent did not receive any sunlight from dawn until dusk and was very cold. You could sail a yacht in the puddles that were permanently on the floor of the toilet block. There was one washing up point for approximately 30 tents, and the light over the sink did not work which made washing up after dark virtually impossible. Site poorly maintained. Didn't use on-site facilities, but were told by neighbours that the swimming pool was the colour of Heinz's oxtail soup.

august 2002 fairly big campsite with indoor pool- a bit over chlorinated- clubhouse, 'bistro' kids playparks. the children actually really enjoyed running through the WWII tunnels. Terraced campsite. Lovely beach but it is at the bottom of a steep climb which we managed- our youngest is 3- but would be completely useless for a buggy. there are toilets and a cafe at the beach though and it is worth the climb. Other beaches nearby, but not really walking distance with children. showers etc clean. and out of season very cheap for a CandC site!
