Stayed for over a week for the first time at this lovely site.
Site has different fields, grass mostly with a few hard standings.
Good clean showers and toilets, never had to wait, though it wasn't a busy time of the year.
Water taps were those press and hold type everywhere which was a pain trying to empty the toilet cassette and rinse it afterward. Needed more hands to avoid spash back.
Though it was a wet week, there wasn't huge puddles, drainage was really good.
The large dog exercise field was excellent for walking our mad springer and there was a few pubic footpaths off site.
Owners were very friendly.
Lane up to site is narrow, watch out for the fast cars coming down, but its only a short drive up to enterence.
Good choice of takeaways in the town of Sidley, about a mile down the road.
Quite a good price for a couple, price goes up if you have to include extras like, kids, awning and dog.
Playground on site, kids had plenty of space to run around and looked safe.
Thank you for a relaxing week, Definitely be back.

Really nice site just outside Bexhill. Large pitches well marked out, different fields with large hedges giving it a nice small site feel. There are quite a few statics and "permanent tourers" on site, but these were mainly in other fields.
The washrooms and washing facilities as well set up for COVID with hand gel outside all rooms, and certain washbasins closed. The facilities were all clean, and not too busy - I think a lot of the caravanners were using their own facilities. The owners were often around tidying up.
The site was lovely and quiet at night with some lovely views of stars. There's a new bypass nearby (with good signs to the site) but there we generally only heard traffic noise during the day.
Sidley is approximately a half-hour walk away (slightly longer coming back uphill), there's a few take aways and shops, but nothing really closer. Bexhill on Sea (on the seafront itself) is a lovely town.
No children, so can't really rate it for child friendliness, other than noticing a playground there.
All in all a really nice site, would definitely recommend.

Fantastic site, great location, top notch hosts. A very peaceful site, yet only a 45 minute walk to the Sea or a five minute drive.
The facilities for your dogs are perfect as well and It only cost us £20. 50 - two adults and a dog with electric hook up!
We will definitely be back

Had a brilliant few nights stay here with friends. Kids had lots of fun. Very clean and friendly site. Kids loved the playground and seeing the horses.
Plenty of space around camp and facilities needed for your camping trip ie shower blocks /washing up room etc.
Definitely will return. Not far from local attractions.

We booked this site last minute,
It was just the 3 of us myself my husband and my 19year old son we wanted a few days away before my son leaves to join the Royal Marines.
Great walks ( runs)
Great site, large pitches, friendly owners, great fresh eggs 😊 5 minutes drive to Bexhill-on-sea which is a lovely town about 20 minutes drive to Hastings
Over all we had a fantastic time, highly recommend this site.
Very clean and tidy site.
We will definitely be returning to this site 😊

This was our first trip in our motorhome. We were joined by our son, girlfriend and 3 young grandchildren, who stayed in a tent. We were very impressed with the size of the grass pitch, we had an electric hook-up, our son was also able to pitch his tent next to our motorhome.
The site was very clean, tidy and secure, our grandchildren made friends with a young family in the caravan opposite and had a wonderful time playing with each other in the middle of the field. We had lovely family barbeques, the site was quiet with no loud music or rowdy families.
As we were at the end of the field and it was quite a walk to the toilets we therefore mostly used our motorhome toilet and shower. However, I did use the showers on one occasion and found them adequate, they were also free of charge, although it was annoying that you have to keep pressing the shower tap in as the water only ran for roughly 10 seconds before it stopped. The water also took quite a while to heat up.
The staff were friendly and welcoming with the husband regularly cycling around the field to ensure there were no problems. The only criticism I have is that there should be a light outside the washroom as it is very dark at night and the ground is pretty uneven. Also, I thought charging £20 per night for a tent was a little steep, but I guess this is average. However, the charges for our motorhome included the awning and electric which was very good value.
There is no shop of any sort on site and this would be a welcome addition, although we brought enough of our own supplies not to have to worry. Not a problem if you have a car but we didn't want to drive our motorhome anywhere once we had settled in.
Overall we had a great time and would certainly consider staying at Cobbs Hill again.

Nice place and staff would visit again.
I will say try get near the trees for a bit of shade as does get very hot. And the water is a bit slow when you got feel up your water barrel.
Nice place worth a nice long weekend visit. 8/10

Pleasant campsite with good facilities. I'd booked for 3 nights to spend time with friends in area.
The limiting (not known at time of booking, l understand is stated on website) factor for me was fact gates are locked (no code available) at 10. 30pm through til 8am. I gather, a response to previous anti-social behaviours.
A difficult limitation, which involved leaving a pleasant evening gathering early to travel back to the site before the 'curfew'.
I left the following day, having booked an alternative site nearby. Refund willingly given, ) & would likely have been great stay if not for this aspect.

Cobbs Hill Farm is tucked away from noise and traffic and is the perfect escape for those wishing for a relaxed and peaceful few days.
The owners are careful where they group people. Many younger families are situated close to the children's playground for example.
There are pitches for those who wish to leave their vans all year round on the site - really reasonably priced and they also have storage facilities available; the cheapest I could find near me in Eastbourne.
The site is clean and the family owners, friendly and helpful. I have visited several times with friends and family. The site is pleasant for seasoned campers and equally those starting out on the camping journey with young families. I look forward to the day I can return :-)
