Lovely location, nice clean toilet block and hot water.
Helpful friendly hosts, and generous sized pitches. Couldn't ask for more from a small campsite. The fire pits and supply of wood were a bonus on chilly nights.

This is my new favourite campsite. We stayed in a 4 berth pod, and were provided with our own picnic bench, fire pit and log store and could buy a barrow of wood which included fire lighters and small sticks. The wash facilities were ample and clean. A great play area for the kids, and even a large covered area which was ideal when a thunderstorm started in the middle of our BBQ, and we were able to relocate under it. This is a small site (a good thing for me), the owners are very welcoming and helpful, and we can't wait to go back. Very close to Ironbridge, but it still feels nice and remote. Thank you James! We look forward to seeing you again soon! Brendan, Lisa & Max

We spent Easter weekend at the Irongorge campsite and cannot recommend it enough. Many of the reviews here are for the pods - which are indeed lovely and got rave reviews from those staying in them. We took our own tent, however, and found the site itself to be the best we have experienced for ease of pitching - flat and free of stones for tent pegs. The shower/toilet area was clean and always fully supplied with paper and towels, and the washing up area was also just what was required with running hot water and two sinks.
What makes this place, aside from the stunning scenery and easy access to Ironbridge and the local amenities, is the owners. James and Claire greet every arrival personally, and make sure they can do everything possible to make your stay comfortable. The site itself is not overcrowded, with a great area in the middle for the children to play in - big enough to not get in the way of the tents, but visible in order to watch small children. We were provided with a wood burner and dry wood (very reasonably priced) and they were always happy to stop and chat and recommend pubs/walks. In addition, on a weekend when it not only rained heavily but also snowed, they took some of our wet washing away and made sure it was dry for us, as well as offering to help with dry bedding should we need it. The icing on the cake was being invited into their own private farm area to watch some lambs being born!
If you are looking for a campsite (or glampsite) in this area, I would look no further.

First experience of glamping. The pod was warm, practical and comfortable with outside seating area on decking, chairs and table for outside use and barbecue stands available. The site quiet and peaceful but within easy range of Ironbridge and all the museums. Well kept and shower facilities clean with hot water. Highly recommended. Very Friendly.

Great site, new and the owners James and Claire are very keen to get things just right for their visitors.
Beautiful secluded site, yet very close to Ironbridge and the museums, easy driving distance to Bridgnorth for the Severn Valley Railway which we visited during our stay.
The site facilities are excellent, spotlessly clean Toilets and free to use showers, outside washing up area with hot water.
Campfires add to the atmosphere, burning away in James re-cycled washing machine drums, great idea! They also cook a fine barbecue as well, all in all a great piece of kit!
The camping pitches are very flat and even, no stones whatsoever and the grass is maintained to a very high standard. Drainage of the field is also very good.
Whilst staying on the 22nd, we encountered a storm of biblical proportions, Thunder and torrential rain.
We were fortunate that our tent held up very well and we stayed dry, some others were not so lucky.
Immediately following the storm, both James and Claire were on the field offering assistance, drying clothes and bedding in their own house and loaning out dry duvets and a spare dry tent or two to folks that had been washed out. Just fantastic, what great people. Great place, we will stay here again soon!

This was our first camping experience as a family of 4 (2 adults + 7 and 5 year olds) for 3 nights. I have only good things to say about this site. Location is quiet and scenic with a 20 min slow walk down a country path to the the centre of Ironbridge. Shower and toilets were spotless with outdoor washing area (now with hot water). We received a very friendly and helpful welcome on arrival and during our visit. We thought the fire pits were a great idea and we made full use of them to keep warm at night whilst watching shooting stars in the night sky. Our kids made new friends and were fully occupied playing together and on the sites play area. Needless to say we loved it and will be going again and would highly recommend a stay here.

Stayed here for one night whilst walking The Severn Way, only found details of the campsite at Tourist info in Ironbridge, hadn't found it on a previous web search, don't try and drive using Strethill Road, use School Hill, the next road along, becomes a single track road but don't let this put you off, it is a lovely site, very helpful owners, clean toilet and shower block, fire pits and wood provided and lovely views. The owners were very friendly and helpful, showed us a footpath that took us back to town via fields. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a quiet site

What a fabulous camping find. Have loved our visit to Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge and discovering this lovely site was the icing on the cake. Fantastic facilities and spotlessly clean. The site is nestled in the perfect spot with beautiful views. The washing machine drum fire pits are great and have grills to BBQ on. The delightful hosts have coals and wood for sale. The Swedish log was so nice to sit round and the kids roasted marshmallows around it. If you are planning a visit to the area buy your the museum pass with Tesco points or the owners have a voucher link on their Facebook page. The owners lovely boys came rounds with fresh eggs for sale. Was a lovely stay and will return for longer next time. Or may stay in the pod later on in the year. Fab visit, fab site and fab area. We are very happy campers :-)

A small site for tents only.
It's a brand new site, out in the countryside with a lovely view, but only a mile or so from the town of Ironbridge which is full of industrial heritage museums and a (replica) Victorian Town.
The owners of the site are very friendly and helpful, and regularly check everyone's ok and if you need anything.
(Thanks for pushing my wifes mobility scooter up the hill when it broke down!)
Campfires are encouraged with free firepits available and logs to buy.
The facilities consist of good showers and toilets, washing up sinks.
There's no hot water at the washing up sink, but that might change soon as the owners are keen on improving the place.
Can't comment on Child Friendliness as we didn't take one!
I definitely recommend this site.

Just back from camping here, the site is in a fantastic peaceful location. There are loads of museums etc in the local area, local pub is 'walkable', what more could you want - oh, great hosts, excellent facilities (toilet/shower block is pristine), grass is perfectly flat and all at reasonable prices - My advice, make your trip soon, before everyone finds out!
