Green frog is handy for the town and if you like walking and fishing its ideal. A lot of pitches on gravel which is ok but grass would be nicer.

Quite a few with no electricity but that is explained on booking. The traffic light system on the toilet block could be better. Although it seems simple enough and instructions are well displayed

Some people not using properly so a lot of the time it looks as though its engaged when its empty.

A separate WC would be handy in case two people are in having showers. They allow generators to run for a couple of hours at a time which disturbs other campers so I wouldn't go if you if you plan to sit out with a glass of wine before dinner.

A great price at £9 a night but really a site we wouldn't rush back too.

Very friendly helpful staff. Despite being very busy on a bank holiday weekend it was very quiet at night.

We were in the overflow site, basically the cafe car park.

It was our first time in a motor home so not sure what to expect or how to rate it

The site seems to be well appointed for caravan customers but as a tent customer I was disappointed.

Firstly I wasn't allowed to take my car on to the tent site (a small sectioned-off area near the car park) necessitating my wife and myself having to carry not only the tent, but all associated equipment and food, clothes etc. From the car to the place where the tent was to be pitched.

Also, camping by it's very nature means "roughing it" to an extent but we were alarmed that there were no facilities for washing our plates, cutlery etc.

There was a standpipe in the adjacent field with cold running water but for health and safety reasons used eating implements need to be washed in hot water.

The only hot water available was in a toilet compartment containing a small hand basin.

The campsite staff were friendly and helpful in directing me where to go.

The campsite itself is pleasant but I was woken up in the morning to the sounds of construction

 Not enough showers or toilets.

The showers and toilets are kept locked for a large part of the day, not clear why. They are new and well cared for but for a site with probably 50 to 60 units 2 is wholly inadequate. No separate toilets so if both showers are in use no one can use the toilets. There appears to be only one water point and the waste disposal looked poor.

There is also a lack of grass. The main area is just a gravel car park. I'm sure fisherman like this place for the cafe but as a campsite it is poor.

First time at Green frog and was not disappointed.

Friendly staff lovely walks round fishing area.

Lovey cafe. Food was great.

Lovely and quiet although it was not essential to us as we don’t mind folk having a good time.

Will definitely be back thank you for a good stay

Unfortunately this site really needs some attention. The Unisex shower /toilet (there are 2 units) although they have appear to have been recently added, I found that in both unit the door needed a hard push to shut properly (the door check needed planing off as both doors have expanded since fitting), on one door the lock catch fell to the floor when I attempted to lock it.

The other door lock in the adjacent cubicle did not work at all. Also there was no facility to dry your hands after washing them which is not good, a sign did say that "these toilets are checked twice a day" and yet in one, the toilet roll was nearly empty with no replacement!

However the worst part was the chemical toilet disposal area. This area really is shocking with a manhole cover (pretty normal you may thin) which when removed to empty the waste you are confronted with an uncovered/unprotected cesspit which as you can imagine smells and polluts the air around the adjacent area where the drinking water tap is situated.

There appeared to be two pods on site which looked as if they were not in use (one had a door hanging off)

The site I'm afraid in dire need of upgrading and general tidying and organising. The pitches without EHU are pretty random and unmarked.

Sorry but I would not return to this place. Such a shame as it is in a great location. I cannot give more than a score of 3 for facilities etc due to the smell from the waste area and the Unisex toilet block which needs finishing properly.
