Stayed for three nights on this immaculately kept site. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, toilet/shower blocks spacious and very clean, plenty of hot water.
The grass is very well maintained as are the flower beds. Long dog walk within the site and lovely village only a twenty minute walk which has two pubs both serve food. Carlisle only a short drive away and there is a bus stop outside the site if required. Nearby outlet village and also visited Gretna Green which was only a twenty minute drive.
Plenty of other attractions not far away which we didn't get chance to visit.
Would have no hesitation in recommending this site.

Great site. All super pitches. Lovely walk on site and not far to stroll in to Dalston village.
Village has all your shopping needs and a pub. Club also on site. Discount for CC and C&CC members!

Ideally sited for access to Carlisle only 3 miles away and about half a mile from Dalston. I've stayed here a few times. The site is really well cared for with 2 areas for static and hard standings around the rest of the site with grass areas for tents.
Its all quite flat and water and EHU seems to be supplied to most of the hard standings. Some grass pitches also get EHU and water hook up. The site owners are really friendly and welcoming.
They lock the gates at 9pm so if you go out and return after 9pm then you need to park on the access lane outside the owners home. Not a problem for me.
The toilet facilities are excellent on this site, I've stayed here a few times and have only ever found them in good clean working order, they are nice and modern with electronic control of the shower temp. You wave your hand over the panel to turn them on and control the temp which stays nice and steady. There are also plenty of urinals and cubical's.
There is also an outside wash basin on the side of the toilet block as well as a washing machine, drier, freezer.
I'd highly recommend this site, its really peaceful, excellent facilities and pitches. A hair drier in the gents would be nice but that's the only thing I can think of this site is missing.

Spent a week here, a lovely, well kept site. Very good drainage appreciated after a thunderstorm, water cleared very quickly. Toilet block is modern and clean, would check disabled access as there did not appear to be any ramps.
The golf course was not so good, impossibly tall rough, and not clear where tees were as some signs missing or overgrown.
Very good price and pleasant clubhouse serving evening meals.

Stayed here towards the end of the season with our new outfit. Owners were fab - very helpful and friendly.
Freshly cooked basic meals served in the club - it was a nice treat. Good walk into the nearest village. Bus stop at the bottom of the drive if needed. Close to Carlisle if you need it.
Nice size of site. Toilets, showers and pot wash were immaculate. Would use this site again.

Booked this site so we were central as we were attending stobart truckfest. What a great wee place staff are very helpful and friendly. The shower block is the best we have seen and we have visited a good few sites. We went for a meal in the bar on the Saturday night good food good prices wee bit much on the plates the owner talked away to us while we were waiting on our food arriving. The only downfall of the holiday was the rain thunder and lightening both sat and sunday but will definitely return to the site in the future.

Have never wrote a review before about this campsite, as I don't want everyone to find out about it, But its not fair on the owners, who are the most lovely family you can meet, nothing is any trouble to them, very friendly always find time to have a chat even though there very busy keeping the campsite nice, we have been going to Dalston Hall for about two year and have never ever been disappointed we go with my sister and brother in law, this time we went on our own and straight away they were asking where are they. The shower block is lovely, hot modern showers very clean, so what can I say about this site, SIMPLY THE BEST.

This is our second visit to this lovely and well maintained caravan site. As usual the owners were very helpful and apart from the rain and wind we had a great time. The site benefits from having large open pitches which are fully serviced and the shower block is amazing with electronic showers. It is only a 10 minute walk into the village of Dalston which has the most amazing food at all it's eating places. I definitely recommend the Blue Bell pub in the centre of the village and also the Mango Tree (an Indian restaurant) at the outskirts. Great base for touring around the Lakes. Hope to be back soon.

Just returned from a long weekend and we will definitely be returning. A lovely family run site with great toilet and shower facilities on the edge of a golf course for those who like to play and plenty of doggy walks directly from the site. Good sized hard standing pitches and the grass was beautifully cut. There is a small clubhouse on site although we didn't get the chance to sample it. Owners couldn't have been more helpful as we had managed to leave our electric lead at home and they kindly loaned us one which was really kind of them. Discount also available for Caravan Club members which was good too. A fabulous little site - can't wait to go back there

The caravan park was very close to junction 42 of the M6 and easily accessible (10 minute drive approximately). All the touring pitches were hard standing with electric hook up.
The owners were very friendly and approachable.
There is a club house on site, with a bar and the opportunity to purchase some fantastic local meals (the pie and chips was a particular favourite).
The shower block has recently been refurbished too.
Well worth a visit and we will definitely be back!
