Met by Eric who was friendly and helpful. The site is kept spotless brilliant facilities all coved safe and full disabled access which was great.
Eric recommended the local pub The Plough on the Hill which was lovely and would also recommend.
We visited Bamburgh, Holy Island, Alnwick and went on the steam trains.
All in all a brilliant site and owners in a lovely area with lots to do or just sit out and enjoy the view from the site.
We will definitely return.

Lovely peaceful site. Eric looked after us very well. Two toilet/showers units and 1 extra toilet for the ladies.
Can buy fresh produce and order breakfast.
Would recommend.

We arrived on site and met by Eric who was so welcoming.
The honesty supply unit is great for fresh eggs, ice creams and pop.
The toilets and showers are clean and very good.
Water pressure is a little gentle in the shower but still lovely and warm.
The site is lovely and flat and the grounds are kept extremely maintained.
On the first night we had a complaint for still having the radio on low at 7. 30pm however we feel this was more stiff campers, rather than the owners.
Great campsite overall more for a quieter night stay.

Perfect camping site. Owner very helpful, toilet and shower facilities clean and amazing.
The clientele also took special care of the showers and kept them tidy. Very respectful.
The best campsite we used on our whole break. A hidden gem. Would highly recommend.

As good as last year.
We stayed here last year for the first time at this very welcoming, well set up Site. There's plenty of space, good facilities plus we had our own water supply. There's a bus to Berwick and Wooler from just down the road. Berwick is a lovely town, full of character and, we
Think, a bit underestimated. The owner was very helpful with setting up and choosing a pitch and even gave us a lift to town from where we walked along the coast path into Scotland.
The only drawback is that the nearest pub or restaurant is several miles away. On the other hand, Cocklawburn beach is stunning.

Eric couldn't do enough to ensure your stay was as relaxing as possible.
Very helpful also gave recommendations for an excellent pub called the plough on the hill only 2 miles away which do great food and 18 real ales a real country pub.
Also where to find free parking in Berwick at castlegate. Back to Raglan Park. Excellent well laid out site a real country feel and quiet site with good facilities and a lot of thought has gone into Covid Safety.
A site I would certainly visit again if in the area. Thanks Eric for a great stay.

A lovely, quiet, spacious and well kept site in the middle of open countryside yet only 5 or so miles from Berwick upon Tweed. Easy access from the main A1, all pitches flat although some may require a levelling ramp – some grass and some hardstanding.
Site owner very friendly and very helpful whenever help is needed.
Two toilet/shower blocks were very clean and the showers free and hot. Elsan point easy to access, laundry and wash-up area, Calor gas available.
The village of Ancroft has no facilities however a range of basic items like bread, milk etc available on site as well as home-made ice cream and cakes - a ‘must try’ if ever there was one!
Berwick is only a 10 minute drive away with shops, supermarkets etc. And a twice weekly market (Wednesday & Saturday).
There’s easy cycling all the way to Lindisfarne on quiet lanes and cycleways. We also found cycling to the castles at Ford, Etal and Norham to be fairly easy on quiet lanes & roads.
We visited Berwick several times as it is such an interesting town, it still has the Medieval/Tudor town walls more or less intact and it’s possible to walk them all with not too much effort.
Oodles to see in the local vicinity eg. Down the River Tweed valley to Coldstream and the huge beaches down to Bamburgh and Seahouses.
Too much to see in one visit and will have to return to see more.

Well laid out site with good sized gravel pitches.
Toilets and showers were very clean and we loved the little extras like the honesty box shop for essentials and little luxuries like Cornetto.
Definitely recommend and we will stay there again.

Felt very comfortable at this well organised Site and would be happy to come back anytime. This was our only stay this year where one entire toilet block had been spray sterilised.
There were plenty of hand wash facilities and signage with very helpful staff. Wifi was poor unless you went up to the bothy area.
There are regular buses from the Village to Berwick, well worth a visit, to the North and Wooler to the south.
The marvelous, long virtually deserted beaches of Northumbria are about a 3 mile drive or walk away.

A lovely stay on such a friendly, quiet, clean campsite. Very helpful staff on site. Perfect for that quiet but child friendly stay. The site owner Eric was extremely helpful when we needed help with our tent and electrics, as first time campers in a tent!
During our stay we visited Bamburgh, the beach and views were stunning. We also visited Blair drummond safari Park, which was a good day out. Berwick a short drive had a lovely Chinese and chip shop, and Eric said there are others that deliver on site. Plenty of supermarkets close by at Berwick too.
The facilities were clean and there were bikes for the children to use, which was a lovely gesture and on our last days stay we had bacon sandwiches delivered for breakfast.
