My husband and I have just returned from 3 wonderful nights at this lovely little site with our 2 dogs.
This is my first review on UKCampsite but I really want to help this lovely couple build a great reputation for what is already a perfect caravan site.
When we arrived we were greeted by the owner who gave us lots of relevant information about the site and the local area. We pitched up our tourer on pitch 1 which is located right next to the facilities block (although none of the pitches are far away) and is a little more sheltered from the wind than some of the other pitches. We were able to chose from all the available pitches which was nice, most other places dictate where you have to pitch and we liked being able to make our own selection. All the pitches have 16 amp hook-up and a water tap.
The facilities are amazing, very modern and clean and the additional toiletries provided are a really nice touch. As we were touring around the UK we needed to use the laundry facilities which I was delighted to find were free! I have never come across this before and I love that they do this, they even offered free laundry liquid and fabric softener, not that I used these as I'd brought my own, but again, a lovely touch (assuming they hadn't been left by a previous guest). You have to pay from the tumble dryer but I put in a £1 coin which gave me ample time to dry my laundry and credit leftover for the next guest.
There are no hairdryers in the ladies, this was fine for me as I always bring my own but it's good to be forewarned if you're used to using coin operated hairdryers.
As a previous reviewer has mentioned, there are planes flying overhead from the local RAF base, this was not a problem for us and was a real treat to watch in actual fact, however, they can be super noisy so this might be a problem for some guests, it certainly added to our experience positively.
Just adjacent to the pitches is a large field where dogs are allowed to run freely, our dogs loved this and it is a really good size to be able to throw a ball for them. When talking to the owners they also mentioned that they are installing a dog wash soon, this will be another lovely touch once completed.
Locally in the village of Valley, there are a couple of convenience stores, pubs, takeaways etc. And this is just a mile or two down the road from the caravan site. If you continue down the A5 through Valley you are taken across the water onto Holy Island, if you take the first right immediately after crossing the water you will find Penrhos Nature Reserve, there is free car parking and dogs are welcome on the beach there, we walked the dogs down the beach and then walked back up through the woodland, there is a section where you can spot red squirrels although we weren't fortunate enough. There is a burger van in the car park where you can buy tea/coffee and fast food etc.
All in all we had a really lovely time and we would rate this site very highly, one of our definite favourites. We had plans to travel on to the Peak District following our stay here but we talked about staying on an extra night or two because we loved the laid back feel so much, really wish we had now.
The next time we plan a trip to Angelsey we will definitely return to Bryn Ednyfed.
Thank you for having us!

What a find. Wasn't too impressed with Anglesey as I drove from the mainland. How wrong was I. The campsite is lovely and tidy and the Showers superb. One of the cleanest we have come across. The pitches have water and ehu. The owners are really friendly and very helpful.
The local village is basic, but further on in Valley ( village name ) with a selection of shops including a great butcher. There is a strange little carboot / market place. Really worth a visit if you like rummaging. We do. And did
There are some lovely beaches close by and a short drive gets you to Holy island / Holyhead. Well worth a visit.
We only booked for a couple of nights to round off our trip, but wished we had stayed a week. Part of us wants to keep this place a secret so we can have it to ourselves as it is so nice, but the owners are really trying hard so deserve a great review.

Stayed for a weekend, lovely new site with excellent spotless toilet facilities with lovely touches of toiletries in ladies toilets for you to use, handy if you have forgotten something. Pitches are a good size with electric and water. Only three other units on site so was lovely and quiet. Thanks to Ceflyn and family your site is going to be a great asset to Anglesey and we hope to visit again. Only thing missing dedicated dog walk but hopefully this is in the pipeline for the future.

This is a brand new site without any reviews so here is mine, we have just spent eight nights at this lovely gem of a site, with our gobur folding caravan the shower block is brilliant and very clean, the washing up facility is under cover and it also houses a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, each pitch has a 16 amp supply and also its own tap, all pitches are hard standing with room enough for a car, caravan and awning, the owners Ruth & Celfyn are a smashing couple, very helpful but not in your face, the site is just under 2 miles from Valley and if you like watching the RAF planes you will enjoy your very own show, to sum the site up, if you are looking for a relaxing, laid back site on Anglesey the I would highly recommend this site, do not be put off by lack of reviews because as I said this is a new site and we will definitely be coming back here.
Well done Ruth & Celfyn and the very best of luck with your site after all your hard work you deserve to succeed.
