The site is a beautiful location, within walking distance of skipton.
I sent a text as we left to the owner saying how much we loved the site and aim to return.
She was very obliging as we arrived, although clearly busy as this is a working farm.
It is a very unspoilt site, no bells and whistles, but clean warm showers and toilets.
Excellent.

Wonderful place to stay.
Beautiful views of the canal and the countryside. Canal side walks.
Skipton not too far to walk to.
Also an added bonus fresh eggs to buy.

We had 2 nights here, great walks from the site both ways on the canal towpath, quiet dark night.
Would use again no problem.
It’s a 20 minute walk into Skipton

Lovely views, surrounding farm. Entrance track Is a tight turn, a very narrow swing bridge but fine for my Small van (Transporter). Not sure a new 8ft wide van would get in.
The toilet blocks are very clean and 50p a shower. Very clean. There is a games area and seating with barbecue under cover that is probably used in summer. Separate area for tents and motorhomes andeach pitch has an adjacent picnic table.
Only downside for us was on the second night a group of people in two large tents decided to sing and shout until 12. 30 am ( could happen on any site, but it should be monitored after 11pm. )
Nice walk along the canal into Skipton. I walked along the canal for 35 minutes before I came to a pub Rubarb restaurant and hotel( good beer and very good food.
Would I go again YES.

A lovely site with pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, we didn't use the facilities due to the covid crisis, however the site is clean and has glorious views, it is right by the canal and an easy one mile walk into Skipton.
We like leisurely cycling and it was great cycling along the canal in both directions, it is also well situated for walkers.
We will stay on this site again.
Didn't use site facilities hence the score of 5.

Our first and only night was spent at a campsite we have been to before in Skipton called Niffany Farm. We have been to this campsite on 2 other occasions and have found it satisfactory. There are some very nice walks along the canal and with the site being small we find it nice and quiet, exactly what we want.
The warden on this site, Ian, owns a canal boat along the canal and is a very nice man with a wealth of information. However, on arrival we were informed that building work of a new wash and toilet block would be commencing right next to our pitch.
The owner (Jeanette) did say we could move to another pitch but this would have made no difference at all due to the vicinity of the works on the field. I asked if we could move to the other field yet was told that it was full. Another motorhome did park in this field later that afternoon?
I had booked the site 6 weeks in advance yet I was not informed about this work being undertaken at any time. The owner of the site told me she had only just received conformation from building planning for the works. She then went on to inform us that we could ‘take it or leave it’. We found this comment very rude and unaccommodating especially after driving for two hours or so to reach this destination. As much as we wanted to leave through her sarcastic comments, it was quite late in the day.
The site fees have now gone up by 20% maybe more after completion of new washroom block. We were offered no reduction for the inconvenience of this and as a consequence we decided to take the owners advice and leave the next day. Let’s face it, realistically, we had no choice. We have another holiday planned later in the year and expect to return to this campsite to give it a second chance and hopefully give it a better review.

We have just returned home from 5 nights on this gem of a site just outside Skipton. It's situated next to the Leeds Liverpool canal and you can walk along the very picturesque towpath, right into the centre of Skipton in half an hour. It's open all year round, has well maintained showers and toilets (50 pence for a 10 minute shower), 16 amp EHU, generous hard standing pitches that are slightly sloped and lovely views of the Yorkshire countryside.
If you have kids, there is an added bonus for winter caravanning. There is a clubhouse where they can play if the weather is wet. It's only £15 per night per caravan. We will definitely be going there again.

Well just spent a rainy Thursday evening at the lovely Niffany site. Ian and Janette both very friendly. Toilets spotlessly clean and love the idea of the open bar area with seating and a pool table. Perfect for a chill out or close enough for a walk into Skipton. Morrison's/Tesco and B & M's close by too. Not tried them but the smell coming from the 2 takeaway's close by is gorgeous. Will update if I eat from them. I like this site as close to skipton but just far enough away to be nice and quiet. Will be camping here over the coming months as if it rains you have somewhere to go sit and eat rather than cramped in your tent. Will remember to take some pics next time too.

Lovely little site with friendly people. Takes tourers and tents.
Really nice views across the valley and an easy walk along the canal to Skipton.
Only draw back is the entrance. An impossible left hand turn so ONLY approach from Skipton town so you turn right into site.
