Easy booking system, booked over the phone but originally enquired through booking request. Was advised on arrival bed place to stay on the campsite with the wind. Quite bad winds. Was told to visit reception for paperwork and temperature checks once set up. Marj was lovely and was seen cleaning and restocking toilets, water pumps.
There is a communal gazebo with plenty of chairs in the middle. As part of a larger group this was really handy and we were really grateful for this. Marj’ son was seen around the campsite, he would come over and chat. He helped lend a hammer to one of our members which was kind of him.
Cows and sheep in the fields attached, amazing views of 2 mountains. Porta loos were always clean and stocked up. Sanitising/hand washing stations were everywhere which is a big thumbs up. Although no mention online, we were told it was quieter time at 10pm, although they weren’t too strict on this.
Fire pits were available to hire, however the wind was quite bad so they advised not for use that night. We had a couple of dogs, they loved the huge field they can run around on (leads permitted). The owners were really kind and went out of their way for us all here.
Waterfall about a mile down the road, Rhuddlan castle a little further in the opposite direction. Not too far of a drive for the arcades and things. All in all, we all really enjoyed ourselves.
Thank you very much for making us feel welcome, I think it is amazing what you two have done with the place, the dog rescue centre and the animals. Will definitely re-book.

Great area to camp on, great views, fantastic owner that greeted on arrival. Hand washing facilities all around the camping area which was great at these times.
Toilets available and shower facilities. Good for families, friends and solo travellers. Although you are not far from shops and attractions there is a real feel of being out in the countryside.
Will definitely stay again

Lovely owner, great sized clean and tidy field. Clean facilities, every thing you could need.
We especially like that the pitches are all round the edge of the field leaving the middle open for children to play safely in full view.
Nice quiet area but close enough to get to the beach, arcades etc. Had a great time,
We will definitely return soon 😊
