Spent the bank holiday weekend here and, as always, it was excellent.
The site was really busy but there are plenty facilities.
Excellent location for town and beaches.
New bar on site is excellent!

We spent a couple of nights here before Christmas and it was, as usual, of a very high standard.
Facilities are spotless and constantly being improved.
The leisure club is excellent and also in the process of being updated.
New on site bar does good pizzas!
Excellent site.

Our first visit to this site and we had a very good pitch, sheltered from the prevailing wind, with our own picnic bench and private hedge.
The site facilities are excellent - a very warm toilet block, lovely hot showers and a clean washing up area/laundry again with plenty of hot water.
The on site licensed bar/café was also very good. We had a lovely lunch at a very reasonable price - and the dog is made very welcome too!
The location is amazing - you literally walk out of the site and onto the coastal path. Ten minutes to the beach and five minutes to the harbour. The town has a post office, Co-Op, hardware store and several fish and chip shops, Chinese takeaways and Indian Restaurants. The Italian has a Happy Hour till 6 pm with a great choice of meals for that price.
There is also a well stocked and informative Tourist Information Centre plus the usual gift shops.

1st night here at seahouses. Pleasant welcome and let us on site before 2pm. Got plot 14 which is concrete and level so no messing about. Plug in the leccy and job done. Toilets are lovely and warm and smell nice. Went for a lovely walk along the beach followed by a session in the good gym at the leisure centre and then a swim and a steam room, all inclusive. Popped into town and had 3 pints in the ship inn which was very busy and great. Looking forward to next 3 days here.

Best bits first. Seafield is a well maintained massive mostly Static Caravan site with approx. 20 touring pitches plus leisure centre in close proximity to Seahouses centre. The toilet block is very well finished and you are just over the road to the sea and beach, Pitches have own water and waste unit and hook up to each pitch. This site is reasonable during very quit periods when prices are just a bit above average. Now the 'not so good news'. The prices during the main season are just ridiculous, so ideal for campers with more money than sense. The pitches are too close and badly sited especially if you are pitching a caravan, Seems as if The site owner is happy for tourers to pay way over the odds (appox £50 a night peak season ) and no doubt these campers are funding the leisure centre. Any holiday or weekend prices ramp up. The touring area is near the two entrance barrier so you will here them open and shut all day. This site is not for those who like a peaceful relaxing stay. Yes. It is near to village centre and shops and bars etc but you could stay at the many other sites, walk into Seahouses have a more relaxing stay on less expensive site.
If you are visiting Northumberland from Scotland I would recommend you book Springhill Farm site ( see reviews ) as you will get fantastic value for money can book on line and are only 15 minutes walk into Seahouses. 30 minutes walk from Bamburgh Castle 20 minutes drive to Alnwick

Second visit to this site, great facilities, very clean. Electric hook up great very level pitch. Didn't use the pool or spa facilities on this visit. Close to town and shops. Great area to visit. Ate at the links hotel, great meal very friendly, made dog very welcome. Also ate at Bambrough castle hotel, very good food and service.

OK. I really want to be able to give top marks to this campsite because location is great, facilities are amazing. BUT beware, not all pitches are equal even though you pay the same for each. Some are pitches lovely, with a little 'garden' alongside and a picnic table. Others, like the one we were on have no space around them, are too close to the internal roadway and way too close the statics. We had pitch 17 - not only is it just a few feet from a static, it's like being in the leisure centre's car park! We actually took our grievance to the site manager but she didn't have another pitch to switch us to. Their site 'map' is not representative of the true layout of the tourers. The statics are much closer to the tourers. Finishing on a good note - the local 'Ship' pub is totally amazing. If you want to eat there, book in advance - it get totally booked out!

One of the best 5*+ sites I have every stayed on, and only £ 25. 00/night.
Normally wary of sites based mainly on statics with pool and ‘clubhouse’ and touring pitches thrown in for extra revenue. The Seafield Caravan park is absolutely amazing, top notch site with 5* facilities and laid back attitude (no notices and rules posted at every corner).
The touring pitches are near the site entrance, each one fully serviced with EHU, water and waste, designated garden area and individual bench table/seating (nice touch). Fantastic carpeted facilities block and ladies even has a bath!
As a tourer you have free access to the very modern swimming pool with sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. The pool schedule has children/family times and adult only times. Full fitted gym area, treatment room and classes.
The equally modern attached family friendly bar offers reasonably priced food and booze has a dedicated area in which you can take dogs, plus outside sitting area. The site also provides events, wine tasting etc.
The delightful Seahouses town and harbour is 2 minutes’ walk from site, and sandy beaches located 5 or 10 minutes’ walk North or South.
This site has really set a very high bar in both the quality, standard and management attitude to ‘campers’ – keep up the good work, highly recommended.

Spent a night at Seafield while on the way up to visit Scotland's coastline. As always, it didn't fail to impress. Excellent location, superb facilities and very welcoming staff.
The on site health club has been extended. A great place to go for a swim, spa and sauna. They also do fitness classes for a smal charge.
Great beach and great town on the doorstep!

We ve just spent three nights at Seafields and it was wonderfull. We arrived after the office closed and had no booking, a notice in the window advised that plot 19 was available and another camper kindly put tue code in to raise the barrier, thank you. The pitch was hard standing with electricity and water right next to the wonderfully appointed leisure centre use of which was included in the 3 nights for 2 £50 deal great value. The showers, laundry and everything was great as was the location.
