We stayed with friends for 6 nights over B Holiday weekend. Lovely site with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside.Toilet blocks quite old BUT immaculate,1 shower which needed 20p but gave long enough time for a decent, hot shower. New wash up room with a fridge and a freezer and 2 sinks again spotlessly clean. Hairdryer in ladies (need 10p but long enough to dry hair well).
Lovely, friendly owners who were very obliging and came to the site several times a day and were always available at the nearby bungalow.
Lovely large area for the kids to play( and they did!), no problems using footballs etc.
Daily visit from milkman who also carried fruit juice/eggs. About 3 mile into Cartmel with local Spar shop and around 5 mile to Grange with a wider selection of shops.
Visiting again next year, good site to travel from or just sit and enjoy the day.

Just back from this fantastic site. We booked earlier in the year for ourselves in our Vango 900 [that's not a tent, it's a bloomin' marquee!] and our friends in their tourer.

Arrived to find our named pitches as promised in prime position next to each other. Plenty of room for our monstrous tent, and a superbly quiet site.

No shop, no clubhouse, no bother! Only 10 miles from the M6, but you would think you were in the middle of nowhere. Toilets and showers more than adequate, even if they are a couple of minute walk. We had our 3 & 5 year old daughters, and it was no bother.

All pitches are on grass with superb drainage. I think there were 14 hookup pitches, and probably another 8-10 without.

As you can probably gather, we will be visiting again!

Lovely quiet site for a relaxing stay, lots of space for children to run around and play in safety.
Views over the countryside from all angles.
This site is situated on a working farm and is surrounded by sheep and cattle. While we were there we were treated to an impromptu working sheepdog demonstration, and were invited to view the sheep being sheared, our son loved it!
Owners are very friendly and keen to please - explaining where to find everything on and around the park.
Large and well tended grass pitches, well marked with your own name so easy to find. Very clean and adequate facilities, could not find fault.
About two miles from Cartmel with interesting craft shops and spar for essentials - good pubs and cafe. Will visit again.

Just come back from second weekend at Greaves Farm this summer. We only live half an hour away but we found this site so relaxing and well kept, we felt we were  on holiday, miles and miles away, so will keep going back now.

The site was full, but there was never a queue for the loos or shower (there is only one shower, but 3 or 4 loos per block) and they were always clean.

There are 2 fields - 1 small one with 3 hook ups and a much larger field which has hook ups and plenty of other pitches. No one is in the middle, so it was a fab area for kids to play football, cricket, frisbie etc, without going near the other units.

I know the area quite well and it is beautiful - you have Lake Windermere only a couple of miles away, but Cartmel, Grange and Ulverston are only short drives away and they are fab places to visit with loads to see.

We have visited loads of sites, big and small, over the years and this has to be one of the nicest.

Very quiet farm site. Flat grass pitches with hook up if required. Toilet facilities very basic (only 1 loo + 1 shower) to each ladies and gents. milk man calls daily with essentials (milk eggs etc.) Otherwise nearest shop in cartmel village 3 miles away. Ideal base to visit main attractions, as Lakeside, with ferry trips and train rides to all main Lakes attractions is only 2 miles away ( park and ride so to speak !!) Also well place if you want to go to Cartmel races.
